This move seems, and I really hope to be, like Gustav Forsling. I really liked that kid at the World juniors. Not drafted high but, bounced around before finding a home in Florida. He whom was also drafted by the Blackhawks. I think this could be a steal!
Top skating speed depends on what team you're on. When you play for Florida and the puck is moving north more often than not, a defenceman isn't always going full speed. On a weaker team like Columbus was, there are more opportunities in a game where you have to turn the jets on to cover for a d partner.

Boquist is the type of D That Roy wants, skate & move puck well. If Roy sticks around, he will push to phase out and trade #24 and #3. Grant Hutton not brought up speaks volumes. Under Roy D needs to be mobile & puck moving.

Bolduc is putting on a bit of a push lately. Another goal tonight, 3 assists the other night. He is way down on the depth charts now and I think he realizes is NHL dream is washing away unless he does what the team needs from him.

This was a move that was guaranteed the moment Boqvist hit the wire....rebuild?....Lamoriello DOES NOT rebuild...not ever! Just keep chanting that until it sinks in...I have watched his career for over 40 years....not ever!
