You took the words right out of my mouth! I too am beyond Frustrated w/ this menopausal weight! And I NEED help & inspiration with meal ideas/recipes. I wanted to share with you a menopausal supplement that is supposed to be a game changer for literally EVERY symptom that we suffer from it. I know it's time consuming, but maybe Tammy could write a book. I have been following her macro based plan and lost 36 pounds in three months 15 to go for my goal weight. The loss of my husband, he was only 59, then my two fur babies one was 16 the other 18 & my two best friends who were sisters & friends since before kindergarten killed in a car accident all within a year & a 1/2. Thanks. Nice recipes. On the Creami - I found that if you freeze the container with the lid off, it does not get them hump in the middle. And it's a lot easier of the Creami machine. Just set the lid next to it, and then when it's completely frozen, you can then put the lid on. The to will be completely flat.
I made the banana bread just like yours. Love it . I got 11 slices. Per MyFitnessPal i only get 5.1 grams of protein per slice , 1.9 Fat and 19 grams of Carb. I used Isopure Proein Powder . Not sure it the protein content is lower than yours .
I've also used medjool dates to thicken and sweeten homemade ice cream in a my ice cream maker. I also get the date sugar for other recipes that call for sugar. My friend with diabetes gets no glucose reaction from these sugars..

I lost 19% of body weight doing intermittent fasting. I’m post menopausal and I thought well this is the way it is! I stumbled across Dr. Jason Fung talking about diabetes and fasting.
@@hoovergrant I never had weight issues, I’m 59 now but at 52 I started gaining menopause weight, (15# slowly through age 57) I heard about intermittent fasting and found Tammy (she was doing that at the time and explained it really well, plus I kind of eat that way anyway so liked the plan) I didn’t really lose during those years but I didn’t gain too much either, then at 57 I incorporated really good food within my eating time of approx 1-6 ish and the weight fell off, (partially because I was through menopause) but I weigh what I did in my 30’s, at 5,6 and 125# now, I’m active but don’t work out but keep active in my garden and love to grow healthy organic foods, I try to sleep 8 hours a night too which helps I’ve heard. But it’s easy!
I think you are just adorable, A woman after my own heart. I’m a little older than you but I too have a zest for life and health. I’m turning 73 and on my health journey now already lost 12 lbs and have at least 20 more to go. It’s not easy but I have some health issues I fighting with. I’ve enjoyed your videos on makeup, hair, exercise and food from your own journey. Very inspirational. Thank you for sharing.

Oh Tammy everything looks so decadent! I adore dates and that recipe is for me! I love a creamy too, but use ricotta instead of cottage cheese. I have to adjust the sweetness, because I can only use raw sugar. Found that the artificial sweeteners is one of the things causing my severe IBS.

Also, I hope Tammy doesn’t mind me recommending another YTer in the comment, but I’ve been following Cheryl Coloumbe here on YT, and she has awesome weight training workouts. You can do three 30 minute workouts a week, or five 20 minute workouts a week, and she has playlists set up for them. I have really enjoyed them!

Oh wow! I just baked up that banana bread today and had a piece. AMAZING! So moist and sweet I didn't even need to add any butter. I love dates too. Have you ever made chocolate mouse using date, avocados, and cacao powder, and protein powder? It is delicious! All you do is soak the dates in water for a few minutes this makes it easier to remove the pit, and they are less sticky. then I use 1 or 2 very ripe avocados, and TBSP of the cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt. I whip it all up in my Ninja and once it is really smooth I put it in the refrigerator for several hours or over night, and it makes such a nice treat. I can't wait to make the one you are showing us in this video.

Nice to see you my dear. I would love to try things on my eyes but I had a run of chilazons on my eyes. I threw out all my makeup twice! I now only use makeup if I'm going somewhere special. I miss my makeup I never left the house without it. The desserts look delicious!
I also tried every lash serum available. Revitalash is the only one that works for me. I'm 62 and my lashes are still as full as when I was in my 30's because of this product.
Hi Tammy, I love these recipes. I love the one with the dates, I went right to the store and bought the ingredients. I made them yesterday and they are delicious. Great recipes to add to my food plan. I make a banana bread similar but I use almond flour. Also I make creamies but I use frozen banana’s for the creaminess and it’s the thickener. I want to start using protien powder like you do. Again this was an awesome video.
Wegmans has the milk and yogurt but not the cream cheese or anything I like. We have Tops. I'm not sure if they have anything different. I'm not sure about Whole Foods I will have to look. Thank you! @TammysAgelessBeauty

You got me into using a scale. WOW! I now know why I couldn't lose weight, I was definitely eating more than a serving size all the time. I also do not eliminate foods, I eat carbs, fats and protein and I have more energy, sleep well (most times) Thank you for inspiring me. I will be making both recipes, they look delicious. I too love my chocolate.
As of today, I have lost 31 pounds since Christmas. Its been easy because I eat things like a creami every night, and Kodiak protein waffles with sugar free syrup. Waffles and Ice Cream and I'm losing weight!! So far my favorite creami is actually just plain vanilla and add Kashi Go peanut crunch cereal to it.
@@suzannemarie3427 The cereal I use has 220 calories per serving so I use about half a serving. The protein shake has 100, almond milk with protein is 80 per cup and I use 1.5 cups. So my creami has about 220 calories for the whole pint. Sometimes I add cream cheese or jello mix and that adds about 50 calories. I only add cereal or candy when I have the extra calories to "spend" at the end of the day. Sometimes I plan for eating that treat at night and save my calories for it.

If your goal weight is 150lbs...shoot for that in protein...the FDA has protein goals way to low...I weigh 125lbs ...I eat much more protein now ( about 140-160 grams )...and don't believe your body can't take in more than 30 grams a meal...not true, the body is VERY capable of using everything we eat at some point...I always go over in my protein...always! If you have kidney disease or issues...then discuss with your doctor

I know it's time consuming, but maybe Tammy could write a book. I have been following her macro based plan and lost 36 pounds in three months 15 to go for my goal weight. The loss of my husband, he was only 59, then my two fur babies one was 16 the other 18 & my two best friends who were sisters & friends since before kindergarten killed in a car accident all within a year & a 1/2. I shut down and food became my replacement for everything and I barely left the house for a year. When I had to buy new clothes every few months a therapist and Tammy were there.
I’ve done a deep dive into metabolic health and it is so much more than weight ! That’s a start . So if you seek out knowledge on internet you to will see that inflammation is what causes diseased bodies ! From depression to skeletal and belly fat and diabetes causes from carbs and sugar also causes Alzheimer’s. So when you learn exactly what your putting in you4 body is killing you liiteraly it helps motivation. BMI,waist,HBP,weight and tryglicerides HDL . It’s all there for anyone who is interested . All the outside stuff should be second to inner health it will come on its own ❤

Recently I made a white chocolate raspberry creami and for lunch I did a chicken Caesar salad pizza using a chicken based pizza crust. Yea on Revitalash in California!!! I have been macro counting for 7months now - weight loss slow BUT I was interested in addressing my negative relationship with food almost more that the weight loss and I will never look back! Thanks. Nice recipes. On the Creami - I found that if you freeze the container with the lid off, it does not get them hump in the middle. And it's a lot easier of the Creami machine. Just set the lid next to it, and then when it's completely frozen, you can then put the lid on. The to will be completely flat.
I made the banana bread just like yours. Love it . I got 11 slices. Per MyFitnessPal i only get 5.1 grams of protein per slice , 1.9 Fat and 19 grams of Carb. I used Isopure Proein Powder . Not sure it the protein content is lower than yours .
I've also used medjool dates to thicken and sweeten homemade ice cream in a my ice cream maker. I also get the date sugar for other recipes that call for sugar. My friend with diabetes gets no glucose reaction from these sugars..

Not really...My weight loss was pretty consistent...1/2 lb a week. Maybe add a bit more walking in...are you lifting ?

Try intermittent fasting along with eating real clean food, not out of the box kind of thing
I lost 19% of body weight doing intermittent fasting. I’m post menopausal and I thought well this is the way it is! I stumbled across Dr. Jason Fung talking about diabetes and fasting.
@@hoovergrant I never had weight issues, I’m 59 now but at 52 I started gaining menopause weight, (15# slowly through age 57) I heard about intermittent fasting and found Tammy (she was doing that at the time and explained it really well, plus I kind of eat that way anyway so liked the plan) I didn’t really lose during those years but I didn’t gain too much either, then at 57 I incorporated really good food within my eating time of approx 1-6 ish and the weight fell off, (partially because I was through menopause) but I weigh what I did in my 30’s, at 5,6 and 125# now, I’m active but don’t work out but keep active in my garden and love to grow healthy organic foods, I try to sleep 8 hours a night too which helps I’ve heard. But it’s easy!
I think you are just adorable, A woman after my own heart. I’m a little older than you but I too have a zest for life and health. I’m turning 73 and on my health journey now already lost 12 lbs and have at least 20 more to go. It’s not easy but I have some health issues I fighting with. I’ve enjoyed your videos on makeup, hair, exercise and food from your own journey. Very inspirational. Thank you for sharing.

Oh Tammy everything looks so decadent! I adore dates and that recipe is for me! I love a creamy too, but use ricotta instead of cottage cheese. I have to adjust the sweetness, because I can only use raw sugar. Found that the artificial sweeteners is one of the things causing my severe IBS.

Also, I hope Tammy doesn’t mind me recommending another YTer in the comment, but I’ve been following Cheryl Coloumbe here on YT, and she has awesome weight training workouts. You can do three 30 minute workouts a week, or five 20 minute workouts a week, and she has playlists set up for them. I have really enjoyed them!

I love dates too. Have you ever made chocolate mouse using date, avocados, and cacao powder, and protein powder?
It is delicious! All you do is soak the dates in water for a few minutes this makes it easier to remove the pit, and they are less sticky. then I use 1 or 2 very ripe avocados, and TBSP of the cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt. I whip it all up in my Ninja and once it is really smooth I put it in the refrigerator for several hours or over night, and it makes such a nice treat. I can't wait to make the one you are showing us in this video.

Nice to see you my dear. I would love to try things on my eyes but I had a run of chilazons on my eyes. I threw out all my makeup twice! I now only use makeup if I'm going somewhere special. I miss my makeup I never left the house without it. The desserts look delicious!

Hi Tammy, I love these recipes. I love the one with the dates, I went right to the store and bought the ingredients. I made them yesterday and they are delicious. Great recipes to add to my food plan. I make a banana bread similar but I use almond flour. Also I make creamies but I use frozen banana’s for the creaminess and it’s the thickener. I want to start using protien powder like you do. Again this was an awesome video.

the containers come with the creami machine....The Creami ices creams range from 300-400 calories...high in protein...it all depends on how many calories I am consuming for the day...this will determine how many calories can go in my Creami

You got me into using a scale. WOW! I now know why I couldn't lose weight, I was definitely eating more than a serving size all the time. I also do not eliminate foods, I eat carbs, fats and protein and I have more energy, sleep well (most times) Thank you for inspiring me. I will be making both recipes, they look delicious. As of today, I have lost 31 pounds since Christmas. Its been easy because I eat things like a creami every night, and Kodiak protein waffles with sugar free syrup. Waffles and Ice Cream and I'm losing weight!! So far my favorite creami is actually just plain vanilla and add Kashi Go peanut crunch cereal to it.
About how many calories are in a full cremi? Thank you.
It all depends on what ingredients you use...
@@suzannemarie3427 The cereal I use has 220 calories per serving so I use about half a serving. The protein shake has 100, almond milk with protein is 80 per cup and I use 1.5 cups. So my creami has about 220 calories for the whole pint. Sometimes I add cream cheese or jello mix and that adds about 50 calories. I only add cereal or candy when I have the extra calories to "spend" at the end of the day. Sometimes I plan for eating that treat at night and save my calories for it.
I have always enjoyed any and all cooking videos that you have done, mainly because you seem to enjoy doing it, and everything looks so yummy.

So after you lost all this weight, did you lower your required grams of protein accordingly? I wasn’t sure how this worked now.
If your goal weight is 150lbs...shoot for that in protein...the FDA has protein goals way to low...I weigh 125lbs ...I eat much more protein now ( about 140-160 grams )...and don't believe your body can't take in more than 30 grams a meal...not true, the body is VERY capable of using everything we eat at some point...I always go over in my protein...always! If you have kidney disease or issues...then discuss with your doctor
