    I have ALWAYS been so fascinated by the innovation/tricks in the sport. I’d love to sit in on some of those meetings at Hendrick, SHR, or Gibbs and learn the ins and outs of this magic.

    This is the inside tech talk that is sooo intriguing!!! Live to hear about the actual real trick deployed into the car. The sway bar story was gold! To explain how a championship got a away because of a suspension technique is awesomeness. 2012 was Junior’s year for sure!

    This is the part of nascar that nobody within the sport talks about, but everyone outside the sport (fans) loves to hear about. The ingenuity of the engineers, crew chiefs and drivers rivals that of any other industry around the world. Thanks for giving us more great content

      It was surprised that it took Kyle so long to win and equally surprised that he did not make "the chase." Looking back I think Gibbs put another major push behind Dummy Hamlin and sacrificed the success of his other teams by making them the 11 cars test mules much the same way much the same Furniture Row Racing was 78 car and 77 car had been Gibb's test mules for a couple of years and then Leavine Family Racing. Gibbs new test mule team will is 23 team of Hamlin/Jordan. I guess the real question is not that JGR sacrificed the success of Bush, Truex, Jones, and the 95 of Levaine Family Racing but rather how many more balls to the walls pushes will Denny get because since Denny move to Cup racing in 2005 with JGR he has received no fewer that 4 organization pushes to be Cup champion without putting the Cherry on top of the Sundae and becoming a Cup Champion.

    They do that because they got their win so then they're in the playoffs by the virtue of having a win. Sit back on easy Street for the rest of the season and then at the end when they need to pour it on again they do. And then they do it on purpose. And my question is is if you got a bunch of top notch teams out there just cruising around. What kind of excitement is that for the fans.

      I was all F1 and road coarses for my whole life until I watched a few nascar races a couple of years ago. It wasn't until I started to get in to it that I saw just how much work it takes to get a car set up right for an oval, the way the track and grooves change and just how hard they are to drive and the skill it takes even when set up right...... That's Not to mention all the behind the scenes work that goes in. There's so much more to it than meets the eye. Far too much to mention. People/potential new fans need to be exposed to that side of it in some sort of way or just like me they only see cars going around in circles. Nascar is now my favourite Motorsport. Short track racing was a revelation to me lol it's so much fun to watch.

    False! They give the championship 4 a different tire compound - similar to how F1 uses different compounds - they championship 4's fastest laps were almost perfectly 3 tenths quicker than everyone else. Why is everyone so dumbfounded by this???!!!

    • @HomeSlice_2424
      @HomeSlice_2424 3 роки тому +3

      I doubt that a different tire compound could be worth 3 tenths on a hot lap AND still hold up better on the long run. F1s different compounds (soft, medium and hard) are proof of this- the softer tire is faster over a short run, but doesn’t hold up. With the thought process you are using, the Championship 4 should not have been any good over a long run, when in reality, they were better on short and long runs.

    • @patrickveale6265
      @patrickveale6265 3 роки тому +3

      @@HomeSlice_2424 Very very true, and I thought about this as well... After reading what pirelli are trying to do for next year's compounds I still believe you can create a compound that provides more grip with less fall off. For all i know they could have used a harder compound so that they would be 2-3 tenths quicker at the end of a long run... I just think something else is going on here... You're telling me Harvick ( the king of phoenix ) was nowhere to be found and his car was half a second per lap slower than chase?? I DOUBT it
