I love the marble hex look also and had been tossing up between the marble tile or acrylic. I plan to go a bit bigger n making them a coaster as I figure it may be used more that way but magnet is a great idea as everyone does tend to use them on the fridge now I think about it. Hmm thank you….that might be cheaper option as you get more on a sheet. My wedding is October 2022
Lemon EO might work. Plus it smells good👍🏻I’m here from TIkTok. I was wanting to do resin coasters, the agate look. But I was looking for something easier. This is it!! Thanks.
LOVE this idea! Definitely want to do tiles as my place cards too. It’s smart to separate them for cost efficiency if you’re patient. My wedding is next November so I wouldn’t mind doing this!
I saw a video of yours on Pinterest that was an upload from TikTok...GIRL!!! You are literally saving me money with these diy wedding ideas. I am so totally going to tell everyone about your page!
I was inspired by this video and am doing the same but i did it backwards and I'm weeding each letter individually. woops lol! they are turning out super cool anyway! Thank you for the awesome ideas :)
So I don’t know if it would work with the tiles but I use this trick for the glue on wine bottles and labels when I craft: soaking them in warm to hot water with baking soda mixed in then the glue just scrapes right off
When’s your wedding or event?! COMMENT BELOW!

I will try that thank you!! And you are so welcome 😬
Yes that was my plan initially too, to do resin agate pieces but will be so time consuming with two little ones and cost way more

YOOOOO THESE GO HARD! Let's gooo!
I appreciate it thank you!
To get the glue off I use a cordless rotary sander, works great and shines them up a bit.

May 16, 2021!
Yay!! Congratulations!!!😍😍😍
Cement scraper or metal scraper like a blade
What are the sizes of the tiles? probably Goo Gone would loosen the glue
They are 2 inches! But Yesss I’m going to try that thank you!!!
what font did you use? Sorry I couldn't understand from your video. Thanks! :)
What template did you use on Canva?
I wonder if acetone would help with removing the tile backing?
Did you buy the shiny type of marble? There’s a polished and honed. Not sure which to choose. Thank you!
I am a recent subscriber. Where are you from, I know you mentioned your husband is in the military. Did you cheer on Orange?
Thank you for subscribing! I’m from northern VA! I cheered at Fame and currently coach there but I’m a huge fan of Orange!!!
When I go to peel the boxes they don't peel off clean like yours, I don't know why, im using the same settings, do you have any tips?
What are the dimensions of the hexagon tiles you are using? I saw some at Lowe's but for some reason the ones they have seemed small :/
She stated they are 2 inches on another comment! 🙂
Which magnets did you get I didn’t see them on Walmart’s website
They were in the arts and craft section! I'm not sure of the name I don't have the packaging anymore :(
Can tou still do this if yoi dont have canva?
Yes! You can make them right in the Cricut Design Space
