Genius! I love how you duplicated the names so you didnt have to find the font each time..that’s going to help me so much in the future! Great tutorial too❤️
I’m still waiting for my Cricut to be delivered…( I can hardly wait). I was looking for a project to start with that wouldn’t be to overwhelming. I think your key chains are adorable 🥰 Hopefully I can make these and give them to my family & friends. Thank you so much for sharing your technique. 💜🙏🏽
Thank you for this!!!! I’ve been wanting to try to make some silicone beaded teacher lanyards since I’m making one for my friend for her birthday and now I can do everything myself!!
You made them in such a nice way ❤️ I don't even know the names of the things you are using 🙄but you did it so good I'm loving it and I also want to make it now the for inspaering me for doing some art and craft 🎨🎭
@@Abhinav19 Vinyl is used to apply words to your crafts. It can be permanent (used for cups or exterior projects) heat transfer or HTV (needs an iron or heat press to adhere the vinyl to the project.) The vinyl is what you use in your crafting machine. It comes in rolls or sheets. You can get it from amazon, walmart or a craft store like hobby lobby or micheals.
Beautiful :). Thanks for the SVG file. I was trying to make some key rings yesterday using acrylic paint and it went wrong. These SVG files are perfect. I already bought the file and I can't wait to create the image I have in my head :) I will tag you on instagram when I create my key rings.
Love love this tutorial!!! Question... on these particular keychains did you seal them or leave them as is. Also with the permanent vinyl correct me if I’m wrong but the color is on one side and text on the other? Thanks again for your tutorial!!!
Quite a lot of work for some simple keychains! No one would ever know. I hope your friends appreciate them. A question: can you layer vinyl on top of vinyl? Will it stick? Could you have put the names on the back as well, covered by the color swatches, to shine through the front?
How do you make the color part opaque, I am trying to make something similar but when I print on clear material it's too transparent. Yours look so nice !
Hello @Diycraftstutorials, thanks so much for this tutorial. i bought your keychain file on Creative Fabrica. Can i ask the maximum width recommended for both paint brush stroke and name(text) for a 2" acrylic keychain? thanks
Thank you for this video. It was so simple and easy to follow. I don't understand why people would give you a thumbs down!! What is wrong with people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is probably dumb, but if I design it on software and put the brush stroke on the back do I have to mirror image before cutting to make it look how it was designed?
hi. did you mirror the names? the paint splatter was applied on one side and the name on the other? i keep replaying tryin to figure it out before i print lol. TIA
I absolutely LOVE this tutorial!! definitely will be purchasing the svg and blanks and vinyl. what colors are the paint strokes - I’m assuming you bought the different colors of vinyl? I think the siser colors you used are: light orchid, fresh mint, soft blue, cherry blossom pink, carnation pink, possibly coral reef - can you confirm these are the colors if not can you tell me what ones you used? thank you!
Hi, can you teach me a trick how to remove the backing without it sticking on the vinyl and creates bubbles. I bought siser and its not really good every time I transfer it

I just got a cricut air2 a few weeks ago with intent to do stuff like this and I'm so lost lol. Its the vynl I need cost efficient but good material
the vinyl you used is HTV or permanent? or they sell permanent doble color side ? I'm a little confused ? thank for the tutorial video and all information
What pressure is your vinyl set at for cutting ? Mine seems to over cut or under cut and I just can’t get it right . I don’t want to waste any more vinyl
If I were doing one with a pattern say a zebra stripe would I put the name right on top of the zebra pattern then and not flip the disc over. You put the name in the opposite side of the colored brush pattern right ? I’m confused
Do you have any suggestions on what to do so you don't have bubbles? My stickers get bubbles when I try to set them on any surface, I wipe the area with alcohol and use the squeegee but still get them. Specially on layered stickers
Do you find Cricket Joy suitable size for Resin Art? Im usually "card making" and Im thinking this machine may suit my needs over the larger Cricket machines. TIA 🌺

Ive been making these keychains but I never made the paint stroke with vinyl. This is a great idea! Thank you for sharing. I will be trying this soon!
Did you paint the stroke with acrylic? If so how did you seal ?
Is the swoosh on the opposite side or is the name layered on the swoosh?
Thank you for your vid , I am new to the Cricut world , and your vid has been a godsend! ❤
Nice, are you putting the names on the opposite side of the color back ground, or layering it on top?
Brush stroke on back and names on front. You could layer if you prefer
These are soooo cute!!

I'm wondering the same thing about the placing of the vinyl. Both sides or just one on top of the other?
Yes it is
thank you for this! This was satisfying and very helpful

they are gorgeous! What transporter do you use? Can you pass me the link? please thanks in advance
Wouldn't it have been better if the names were mirrored, stuck to the acrylic first and sealed with the coloured backing?
Or would it be too bulky?
I prefer only 1 layer of vinyl in each side as you will be able to see a raised area.
