Hello my friend. I liked the joining techniques and dovetail the most. Milling usage options were also very nice. Congratulations. Thank you for sharing. See you. stay healthy and happy. greetings...
Someone suggested that I should return my 1st router, a trim router, and get a plunge router instead as it is more versatile. My dilemma is that I am a female and a trim router suits me better. I am thinking that I'll hand on to my trim router now, seeing what could be done with one from your video. Thank you. I learned a lot.
Your gender, irrelevant; however, for a smaller, weaker person, a compact (small) router is maybe a better fit and it is just fine if heavy routing is not done. For example, raised panel routing or very hard woods would probably be too much. Also, an advantage of a small router verses a larger one is it is better suited for those who might need to hold one upside down.
Your on another level bud. I love your building style. Your furniture is built more rigid than I have ever witnessed. You are a master and could make some serious $$$ teaching.
I need a wooden gun rack for 4 of my traditional muzzle loader long rifles. I would like a bar that locks them up inside the bottom with a shelf and door. The guns need to hang horizontally. Could you sketch out a plan with some of your ingenious dovetail joints and corners for me? Around 30 inches wide and 48 inches tall to hang on my wall.
If you will cut a rail board the same thickness as your router depth of cut; then, you will eliminate the wavy edges in your routing. Or take a block of wood the thickness of router cut depth with 2Sided tape and attach to your router shoe on one side and that will give you perfection. Walnut is my chief wood selection for furniture, boxes and other items. Other hard wood require a different approach to cut smoothly and accurately. I used the 3-1/4hp large Bosch routers for 25 years and now will do as you with palm routers. Keep up the good work
congratulations, you are really good .. beautiful and interesting video. of course I joined your channel. a very dear greeting from Italy. good job. Luca

My Bosch is a little bit wild & difficult to keep at the edge of the pencil line. When i turn it on the first time, it shocked my ankle quite hard. Plus the bottom is acrylic & square instead of metal & circular.

Very good. Congratulations.
Love it! Thank you for inspiring me to use my new Makita router. You do amazing work!
It has 800W, 1/4 horse power. Does the router have enough power to do woodworking?
