This is a fun and easy video series that show you how to program your own FM sounds using a Yamaha Montage or MODX.

Good to know this plays sounds and CAD builder, electrical engineering, and physics engineering.... I'm lost as hell in that fm screen.

Not remotely helpful. Going through the steps way too fast and not explaining how each step works. I tried this multiple times with zero success.

Nice, how do I get present sounds to do the first motion that you sequenced? For example, I want a Rhodes to repeat at a certain tempo (motion sequence), but not the second sound (strings).

Thankyou for the great content, however the screen is too small and the whole thing (to me) seems blurry.
It's important to see which controls you are touching and I can't quite see that most of the time.

Hey there. Thanks for excellent video.
I am considering buying a MODX. Montage and MODX should have the same arpeggiator.
I am curios about arpeggiator function on MODX and whether it can do what I want. As I am playing a lot of Muse, I would need to program arpeggio phrases not in note values (like F-A-C-E) or relative pitch (like base note, then +2 pitch, then +6 pitch, then -1 pitch) but in tone order values.
In other words, I would need to program a phase so if I press 3 notes on the keyboard, then the arpeggiator should play in even 16th notes the following:
    2nd, 1st, 2nd, 3rd
So, if I press F-A-C, I want to hear A-F-A-C repeating. The same arpeggio should produce E-C-E-G if I press C-E-G. And so on.
From the manual it seems that Yamaha arpeggios are more note phrase based. Am I wrong? Can I achieve what I need with Yamaha MODX/Montage arpeggiator?
    Thanks!
