Great vid. I was going to put a new taller panel in that 185 I had you look at, but realized the v brace probably won’t fit if I do that because the glare shield is taller. Gues I will have to make another v brace! Thanks for the scantlings on the tubing etc.
One thing that is good to do when fitting a cessna windscreen is to install the wings temporarily. This allows the screen to be trimmed to line up with the wing profile and ensure the the wing to fuselage filler strips fit correctly.
I did this windshield install a few months ago. I also installed the top metal piece first. I had to drill it our and then cleco it in to hold the top and the strip to fit it. There is no way to get the top of the windshield in with it riveted first.
