I listened to a lot of podcasts from Balor, to Ghazzy and newcomers to PoE, like DM and Raxxanterax. Risk and reward is definitely there, but there are two issues: 1. You don't know where the reward really came from in the end. Was it a big rare that just happened to drop some loot or was it the Affliction league mechanic? 2. You need to have stupids amount of damage to handle the content, same with Sanctum, which is fine, but this makes the start of Affliction awful and later when you have dozens of millions of DPS, a joke and fun. Raxx even said it, it sucked at the start for him, but now he has his 80 div bow as a TS character and it's fun. As an SRS player, it is not fun. But I have just leveled a Lightning Arrow character, so we'll see how it goes. More on the builds that I play in future videos.
