Isaiah 14:4 says "you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon:" What follows is a long list of what the King of Babylon did to the Jews and how he imprisoned them, also describing how he would fall. most of the non-christian branches of the abrahamic faiths don't consider demons "Evil". Jewish theology see them more as wild animals with human intellect; impulsive, untamed and unpredictable. the Muslim faith sees the Djinn largely the same way.
they aren't evil, they're like lions, or bears. _can_ you tame one and train it to ride a unicycle in a circus? yes. _could_ it maul your face off for trying? also yes.
best practice is also the same as for bears: try to avoid them, and if that's not an option, treat them with a healthy measure of respect.
