I just wanted to say I had an aneurysm burst in my brain in January of this year and he was sitting right beside me. I never got to see his face but he told me it was not my time yet and I love Jesus with all my heart. So it doesn't matter about his looks. He is beautiful. I saw this man I a dream years ago. When I saw the UA-cam I was not fearful but still afraid and didn’t watch for a while. It was on my mind all day. I prayed and Jesus said “don’t be afraid. Jesus is Love. He didn't look sharp mean and He didn't look weak. The Jesus I saw in a short vivid dream, had an inner light that AI would not understand. He was brown skinned with all soft facial features, brown hair with highlights and a bit wavy, brown eyes with some green in them maybe from his inner light, and He had a gentle smile that He gave after He surprised me when he said my name and I turned around startled in my garden. Jesus has a good sense of humor, peaceful nature, gentleness. The short, super vivid symbolic dreams/visions are not like any regular dream. Very pale skin and in the sun all summer she still does not tan, at all, nothing changes. Gets red then still white. So, not everyone changes colour with time in the sun. Well testosterone was by far higher back then so men would sound quite deeper in tone. Today's testosterone is very low in comparison so men's voices are higher today then even 70 years ago. Just a FYI, there is a percentage of Middle Eastern population that do have piercing blue eyes. Admittedly, Yeshua bar Yosef's appearance probably had brown eyes, but blue eyes were a very slight possibility. You are correct that His appearance shouldn't matter for what He did for Humanity.
He was a carpenter, which makes him strong. He has sunned skin as he walks and works in the sun. But does not mean he aged over 30. They eat healthy, less teeth problems and healthier body and definitely not necessarily bald, could be beginning but that is a percentage that balds that young. We still have people that live that lifestyle, and their aging is not necessarily over the top. I just wanted to say I had an aneurysm burst in my brain in January of this year and he was sitting right beside me. I never got to see his face but he told me it was not my time yet and I love Jesus with all my heart. So it doesn't matter about his looks. He is beautiful. I completely disagree with the teeth comment. Watching many different documentaries about ancient people one common thing is archaeologists, are amazed at how good peoples teeth were in ancient times. That’s mainly because they didn’t eat, processed foods and refined sugar.

While carpentry is also prevalent in many coastal areas, nevertheless, one may expect carpenters, even in the 1st century to have wotked under shelter. I saw this man I a dream years ago. When I saw the UA-cam I was not fearful but still afraid and didn’t watch for a while. It was on my mind all day. I prayed and Jesus said “don’t be afraid. We have a number of reasons why we can pronounce Jesus’ name as “Jesus.” God will still hear our prayers no matter if we call him “Yeshua,” “Jesus,” or any other transliteration of his name.
So, in other words, we can pronounce Jesus’ name as “Jesus,” but if we do meet a Christian who chooses to pronounce the name as “Yeshua” or “Yeshua Hamashiach,” then that's just fine.
Another reason we can use the name “Jesus” is that God has commanded us to preach his gospel unto every nation. By transliterating Jesus’ name, we have the ability to reach others through a pronunciation they can recognize and say themselves (Mark 16:15). If we started using 'Yeshua' now people might not know who we're talking about.🙁
Alphabets and letters can differ a lot from nation to nation. There are certain letters in the Russian alphabet people cannot pronounce because they haven’t trained their vocal cords to move in that way.
However, we can use different names of God in prayer and should consider Yeshua Hamashiach as one of them. Each name of God conveys a different meaning, and Yeshua reminds us of Jesus’ witness to the Jewish people on earth, his Jewish heritage, and we are reminded of how the New Testament completes the set-up of the Old Testament.

This has been something that I have had to inform many people, who would still refuse to except it. Your rendition was startling, would I have followed him looking as he did, absolutely! You first assumed that the hair would be short. In those days a great many nations did not cut their hair. He was Nazarine and even though a few say he didn't take the vow he still grew up in that region. In order to be welcomed then people would look like their neighbours. This is evidence of this today still. We move to anyplace and before long we look like the cultural norm of the region. If you look at the Jewish people they are indeed a lighter colour skin. I agree the blue eyes are a good possibility to not use but I personally never seen a Jesus with blue eyes. Yours is the first I've ever seen, always seen with brown eyes.
So how dark of the flesh colour really depends since Jews are a lighter skin colour. Plus the UV damage we see from the sun today would not be the same as it was then because today we have high UV rate then what would be back then, AND it would not effect the flesh quite like it does to us today.

As for his colour that really is depending on if his parents were of the lighter skin shade. A darker complexion from the sun doesn't mean he was black , he could still have been an olive tan colour as most tan skin of that region is.
In the summer I get dark very dark. Many mistake me for latino, even Indian people have assumed I am Indian as well. However, in winter I am very lighter colour brown. However, my daughter is white. In conclusion, skin could very possibly be a light colour as many Jews are, to a possible olive tan colour to even darker brown shade. This one has a larger range of possibilities. Hair would most likely be longer as per the cultural norm. Voice is quite probable to be deeper since testosterone back then was much, much higher than it is today.
As for looks, he would need to fit in to the cultural norm of the area. Especially if he has a big message that contradicts other accepted doctrine. He would need people to hear him so, what we see in Jewish people today is most likely what he would resemble.

Just a FYI, there is a percentage of Middle Eastern population that do have piercing blue eyes. Admittedly, Yeshua bar Yosef's appearance probably had brown eyes, but blue eyes were a very slight possibility. You are correct that His appearance shouldn't matter for what He did for Humanity.
He was a carpenter, which makes him strong. He has sunned skin as he walks and works in the sun. But does not mean he aged over 30. They eat healthy, less teeth problems and healthier body and definitely not necessarily bald, could be beginning but that is a percentage that balds that young. We still have people that live that lifestyle, and their aging is not necessarily over the top. And yes, he looked like any other man of his place and time, as bible speaks of how he could easily slip into and disappear among the crowds.

Be careful , Jesus was more than a good teacher. The concern for what Jesus looked like is important in the fact that God did become man. Having two natures: fully God and fully man. To have image is to accept the incarnation. An image in ancient Christianity was not worshipped like an idol, but venerated in the same sense when you have a picture of a loved one you hold dear.
And his love for us as demonstrated on the cross of Calvary.
Ive seen Jesus in different visions; one was full of symbolism and He was Light. On that day I was praying about my ill mother and I later found out she’d been healed about 5 miles away on that very same day. In Dec 2015 I was in prayer about healing for me and Jesus showed up in my room. He was a dark man and didn’t look like anything he’s depicted today. He was medium height, lean with dark skin and hair a lil below His shoulders. I knew instinctively that I was looking at Jesus. There’s more but just to say that He was dark when He walked the earth. I’ve seen other visions and they’re mostly symbolical to convey a message. Praise God, I am just so grateful that He still show’s up to those that are His.
