I main inside drift vehicles. One thing I love about them is taking tight turns and doing things that karts normally can’t do. One thing I dislike about them is that they don’t have the ability to super bounce.

You're talking to an inside-drift loyalist here lol. I never go outward and I have some very consistent results online. Winning with inside-drift bikes mainly comes down to skill, but it's sooooo satisfying
Inside drift is overhated but outside drift is still better

Put some more time into these bikes. You've got more than enough talent for them. There's going to be quite a few tracks you'll want to steer clear of when using them but once you've got the quirks down they are a blast to drive.
Those red shells tho... STORY OF MY LIFE. That's been happening to me a lot lately.

Main issue with inside drift in MK8D is they don't really drift that sharp which means on certain maps they can feel straight down horrible.. examples are Bowser's neon city & Dragon Driftway.
Inside drifters also tends to have a harder time doing shortcuts, and since you can't jump to fix your direction means inside drifters have to commit a lot in comparison.
Then we got 200cc where you have to drift a lot earlier than usual on karts and this means inside drifters has to basically hit the breaks to a point where the bike almost hit stand still since they have to start drifting so late.
All that said I do think inside drifters are actually really good, they just struggle in certain areas where Karts don't.
If they got buffed to being able to drift just a tad sharper they would be amazing.
Also regarding Red shells... They are WAAAAAAY to common I do believe 2nd place has like 65% chance to find one which is actually insane especially when 1st place are getting coins stuck down their throat I would personally make it so if you have 10 coins you won't find more coins in boxes.
Either that or bring back the fake item boxes so the guy in first can actually place traps too and be somewhat defensive instead of just tossing coins around like you're are Scrooge McDuck.

I once tried using inside drift vehicles. But they feel so awkward to use compared to other vehicles. Anyone else feel this way?
They kinda do. Like I said in the video, the way you go outside a bit and then go inside can be a bit weird until you get used to it. It’s certainly different from MKWii’s inside drift, which I thought was amazing.
