Edit: one thing I massively appreciate is the way you explain the reasons behind what you are doing. For example, the way you explain inside and outside drift. A lot of people just assume that we already know that information lol.

I’ve always used inside drift ever since the game came out. I would use the rocket (jet?) bike genuinely because I liked how thin it was, how tightly it can turn, and how it looked, lol. It’s still the only vehicle I use, even online. It was fun to see and hear your take on it! And it’s great to see you actually putting effort into a vehicle that you’re not used to. Maybe I should try outside drift sometime, haha.
same!! recently ive forced myself to use kart a little bit more bc i wanted to be able to take some nisc/ shortcuts more easily and honestly its fun!! being able to play 2 different types of drifting is complicated but i think its worth it in the end

Finally my question has been answered,also since the combo you were usin' has the same stats as the karts used for the meta,its safe to say people just dont like inside drift.Which suprises me considering its great for stuff like that one section on Neo Bowser city and just generally on 200CC,but hey atleast you managed to win on yoshi's island fittingly enough!

Onlines been so laggy recently, weird.
Why do people stick with Yoshi when playing inside drift? On inside drift it is more difficult to get yellow drift. Its often either blue, rarly purple. Therefore the rule Miniturbo > Speed does not apply all the time. So it may or may not be beneficial to try a slightly faster and more weight combo:
Middle Weight (3pt-weight) : Mario/Comet/Miniroller/Parafoil OR Link/Comet/Miniroller/Paperglider
Heavy Combo (4pt-weight): Bowser/Comet/Miniroller/Parafoil OR Funky Kong/Comet/GLA/Paperglider
Obviously the Heavy Weight combo does not work on 200cc, because Speed to Handling Ratio is awful.

What is inside drift?
inside drift is a different type of drifting that only some bikes have, instead of turning like a kart would do while drifting, you're mainly following an already defined invisible line
its quite difficult to get used to it at the beginning but its fun!!
