    I'll definitely keep all of this in mind whenever I plan on getting a pet rabbit. You do a great job at showing stuff about animals that I never knew!

    You just described 1 issue where it clearly wasn't a sudden death. They would stop eating, that wouldn't be sudden.

      When a rabbit stops eating due to GI stasis, they can pass in less than 24 hours without treatment. That is generally considered a "sudden death" in the context of animal and pet care.
