  • This bread is not only easy to make but also incredibly tasty. In this video, I share my foolproof recipe for a delightful quick bread with a crispy crust and a soft, aromatic interior. No more buying bread-I’ve got you covered! So, let's get baking and fill your home with the aroma of fresh bread!
    Ingredients:
    • Water: 1 cup (230 ml)
    • Fresh yeast: 1 tsp. (4 g) or dry yeast: ½ tsp. (2 g)
    • (Optional) Sugar: 1 tsp. (4 g)
    • Bread flour: 1 ½ cups (220g)
    • Whole wheat flour: ¾ cup (100g)
    • Salt: 1 tsp. (6g)
This recipe doesn’t require any kneading, just mixing! I use a unique method I call “lift and slap”, together with "stretch and fold", to help the dough rise nicely. The dough is then shaped into six beautiful loaves, sprinkled with flour, scored and baked to perfection. The result? A crust that sings and a soft, flavorful crumb that’s perfect with butter.
Remember, the joy of cooking is in the process as much as in the final product. So, let’s enjoy the process together and make some delicious bread! 🥖

This recipe is crafted with your health and taste in mind, bringing the nutty richness of whole grains to your table. The crust is delightfully crispy, while the inside remains soft and inviting. You’ll forget store-bought bread even exists once you taste this homemade goodness! Happy baking, everyone! ♥

Hi, looks lovely. If we divide the dough in three parts do we have to alter the cooking time?

Hello, I tried your recipe yesterday and it was wonderful, although I didn't have the perfect pans. I noticed your pans have notches in the handle, so they nestle together nicely. Can you tell me where to get pans like yours? Thank you!

I feel bad for not knowing, you asked so nicely! I've had them for a long time, I bought 4 pans a long time ago, but I can't remember where. Probably a local kitchen store, I don't buy kitchen stuff online (I have to touch it before I buy). The good news is that you can use regular pans with great results. Here ua-cam.com/video/k3xwe8CXEKw/v-deo.html I use just two regular pans, one upside down as a lid. It works perfectly and they don't slide off.

3:25 Hi I wonder if you can add fillings during this step? For example cream cheese, sweet potato, or pumpkin cubes?
Also is it required to cover the breads with another tray? Would parchment paper work to prevent browning too fast, or is the second tray there to promote steam?
And is it okay to half the recipe for a smaller batch? Or is that not recommended haha
Thank you for sharing such a straightforward method to make bread, I've always been worried about baking my own since it seems prone to messing up, but this video makes it very approachable!

What a coincidence, yesterday I was editing my new video and I was wondering what would happen if I added a filling to my small breads. I guess no better way to find out than to try it. I'd use something that doesn't release too much moisture, it could keep the dough around the filling too wet. If you try this before I do, please let me know how it goes!
The double tray is for steam, it keeps the crust from forming too quickly and lets the bread rise nicely before it hardens. You can use two regular pans of the same size, just turn one upside down and use it as a lid.
You can half the recipe, I don't see why not. But I guarantee that as soon as you taste this bread you'll want to make the other half haha.

Can we use only wholewheat flour. Thanks

    • @Food-Language

It's a bit risky, the bran in whole wheat flour makes it heavy and hard to rise. You can try it, but you might get a denser bread. Will taste great though.

Can use all bread flour 320g?

    • @Food-Language
      @Food-Language  3 місяці тому +2

Yes, you can! You can check my channel for recipes using only bread flour, I have several. Just be sure to compare the consistency of the dough with the one you see in the video and make small adjustments to the water if needed. Happy baking!

@Food-Language I tried this recipe yesterday, and it turned out to be very good. Though I used a bit smaller pan, next time, I will use the right size pan.
