How to Make Party Jollof With Just Tomato Paste Aka Tin Tomato

  • Let me share this perfect Party Jollof Rice recipe with you guys, you don’t have to break a bank in order to make a perfect Jollof rice, just like this saying “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication” 😀. This rice got you anytime! I must confess this is one of the tastiest Jollof I have ever teased!
    Ingredients
    Blended mix:
    1 medium size of red onion & 1/2 cut of brown onion
    3 inch of ginger
    5 cloves of garlic
    1/2 cup of extra virgin olive
    1/2 cut of brown onion to fry
    12oz or 1.5 cup of tomato paste / tin tomato
    Bay leaf
    1/2 tbsp of thyme
    1/2 tbsp of curry
    6 cups of per-boiled rice : throughly wash rice with warm water until rice water is plain.
    Salt to taste
    2 pairs of bouillon cubes
    4.5 cups of meat stock or water or mix
    12oz of mix vegetables
    Cook rice over very low heat for 50-1hr😊

    I dint really follow your steps, because i used precooked rice.. But except that i followed the exact recipe, this is the best low budget jollof rice that I have cooked 🍚😉😉⭐⭐⭐

    I'll try this today, I've been given a task to cook jollof rice . Lol! I'm shaking already. Wish me well as I'll be trying this in the next 2 hours.

      No, if you have an oven, season the chicken and bake it in the oven at 400 degree Fahrenheit.

    JUST tomato paste? You mean tomato paste and TWELVE additional ingredients!

      @Charles-pf2gr Just tomato paste with oil, onion, mixed vegetables and seasonings (thyme, rosemary, salt, knor, curry & bay leaves) cook with broth. I hope this helps, sir.

      She meant just tomato paste, no fresh tomatoes as most people are used to, most people that came here, came here understanding that
      Nobody expects to cook without seasoning
      And you didn't have to be aggressive to pass your point.

      Garlic and ginger is not a must for any food my dear, just use tomatoes, pepper and any seasoning that you have and follow the step. You will definitely arrive with a tasty and perfect texture jollof rice.
