I'm a non Nigerian and have tried Jollof rice before and got really good reviews especially as I'm not Nigerian. I shall be trying this recipe to get that authentic parry taste....and will get the feedback Ancestors pray for me 🤣
Last time i tried the fried rice and it slapped. Now I tried the jollof and omg!!! This page is the truth 😂😂❤️ not them wondering how I learnt how to cook overnight
I Love Jollof ❤! I used the roasted method for the pepper sauce. This was my very first time making it, my family loved it even the kids! I stand by it with my chest full 😊
I adopted this your recipe today for my jollof rice for the family and it came out amazing and smokey. It was like i attended a wedding ceremony. Thank you for the guide. I am not a cook or chef but i love cooking and experimenting with food todays own was amazing. And i love the way you laugh while cooking.
I prefer the 2nd method of prepping the peppers... I'll try it. Thanks chef.. I love the way you talk, it's abvious you're smiling even though we can't see your face... ❤
My dear Tspice. For the first time ever, I got the Jollof rice recipe exactly the way I wanted 💯. Using this method at my first trial was wonderful. I kind of improvised, though, by using the nonstick pot to fry the pepper mixture and tomato sauce to avoid burning and dark color. When thoroughly cooked, I then transferred the pepper mixture from my nonstick pot to my cast iron pot and cooked my Jollof rice in the cast iron pot. It was fantastic. My rice was red, and the grains turned out singly. It was wonderful. Thank you so much for spotlighting this recipe on your channel, and thank you for all you do. 🎉🎉🎉
Came back to say thank you 😊 Since I watched this video I have never encountered issue with making jollof rice and even when I want to cook with less ingredients like on budget it still comes out nice And to those watching Low heat pls that's one tip you shouldn't miss ❤❤❤
You made me cook my first jollof on my birthday eve. I followed your instructions keenly and cooked it like a pro. Since then, I have been making it close to a regular. You are amazing.

There's something I'd like to know...I live in Lagos so we use derica. I would like to know measurements of everything (rice, tomatoe(fresh and processed) oil ,maggi etc for a crowd (10-50people) Thank you very much..I love the recipe
I love Jollof rice x2, hahaha! I came here from your puff puff video, I love how you easily admitted that you didn’t know how to do it and got a professional to share the puff puff recipe and the method. That was very thoughtful, genuine, and different (in a good way) 👏🏾👏🏾 It would be lovely if you could also get a professional to show us the recipe and procedure for buns and egg roll (the type sold after church on Sundays or in those glass boxes in the streets). I miss these Nigerian snacks so much that I’ve been trying to replicate them but they’re tasting too customized 😅 I will like this video because I’ve learned something new (the oven part) and I will also subscribe with the hopes of seeing the street buns video in the near future 🥹🥹 Kindly consider my request and keep up the good work! PS: love how you laugh with absolute joy while you explain. As a fellow foodie, I know that the laughing speaks louder than words for sure!
I enjoyed your jollof tutorial. I could hear the excitement in your voice all throughout this video. I loved all the 'haha' sprinkled everywhere in this video. I couldn't help but giggle myself! Thanks for sharing your recipe. You've got a new subbie! Now to binge watch all your videos! 🙂
