Stars tahu was my first bionicle set. I loved it. I’m happy I found a good copy of it in a lot my friend gave to me

Kind of repeating myself, but as I said in the Gresh short before this compilation, I preferred the 2009 Gresh design. I liked how the mask's colors sort of phased from one to the other, and I thought the shield/blades looked cool! I didn't like how 2010 Gresh's colors stood apart so much, that there was no transition in color.
Of course, the Yellow Rahkshi is a fan favorite, and always will be!

I almost got all the star such back in the day. The only one I didn’t have was the Rahkshi of heat vision.

I remember getting two of these Bionicle Star sets when I was a kid before getting into Hero Factory after Bionicle ended and before Bionicle G2 arrived, probably the Piraka one's my favorite since the Voya Nui era besides the Mahri Nui,Karda Nui, and Bara Magna Bionicle eras and unlike what the Bionicle fandom that's always in their Toa Mata/Metru purist ways like always by not appreciating any other Bionicle series that comes out after Mata,Nuva, and Metru thinks about it? like some of the Glatorian sets I use to own, I liked it lol.
Getting the Piraka,Glatorian, and Stars sets before Hero Factory in my Bionicle childhood usually just proves why I couldn't think of any other Bionicle fan that has all the Piraka,Inika,Barraki,Mahri,Phantoka,Mistika,Glatorian, and Stars series' as their cup of teas than myself lol.

Like pretty much every Bionicle fan who grew up with the series I got a complicated relationship with this wave. I remember at the time they came out absolutely hating them. What a slap in the face for a final wave. Six figures using the Av-Matoran mold. As time has gone on and we learned more about the context of why these figures were made, basically just rushed through so Bionicle could have any sort of proper conclusion, I've come to appreciate them for what they represent.
It would have been really easy for Lego to pull the same trick they did with lines like Exo-Force and get fans invested in an overarching story and then just go "How does it end? You decide!" but the fact they made the effort to wrap up the main narrative conflict really showed that they cared enough about the fans to give us all one last hurrah.
That being said, I do think this is easily the weakest wave the series ever had. I know they weren't working with a big budget for this wave but the fact Lego never made (and probably will never make) an official Great Spirit Robot set is one of the biggest missed opportunities in their entire history.

Nah, I think every other Bionicle fan unlike me who enjoys them was probably too scared to enjoy every other series like Piraka and Barraki because them being different from their precious 2001-2002 2004-2005 series' XD lol.

I think the piraka could be cool for some weird agori subspecies or something, doesn't fit with other skakdi.

Yeah... I still hate these sets, and the devolution of Tahu in story
