The airdrop option worked the best for me. I got my first MacBook on Saturday, and been trying every since to sync my contacts. My contacts arent saved in iCloud so its not easy doing this. It takes longer because its doing each contact but i dont have hundreds so its fine. Thanks for the help.
I honestly thought i was losing it until i saw here that many other people were having the same problem. Thanks for reminding me of this option. I had forgotten it in all my frustration.
The iCloud contacts option is ticked on but when I do it on my Mac still nothing. I’ve unticked it and ticked it again and same results. What can I do?

@@doloresayala2824 I would suggest opneing the contacts app on your MacBook, at the top menu bar, click accounts and make sure you have the contact options selected for all of your accounts. All your contacts should be synced after that. Hope that helps! :D

It is so ridiculous that you need to use another program to sync contacts between two different Apple devices.
But you don't... First option he mentioned will do the job.

how do i transfer messages from my mac to iphone
The best solution for me was checking which email account my contacts were syncing to and then exporting the vCard to Icloud on my MacBook.
