You more then likely won't see this due to how long ago this video was posted but you deserve these words: I am a law enforcement explorer with a local agency and it is one of the best things I've chose to do. Being an explorer we are allowed to go on ride alongs regularly and meet and see the people in our community. It's not uncommon to find kids our age that verbal abuse their parents or even physically harm them because they don't get what they want. Kids don't truly understand the struggle, commitment, and effort that goes into providing for a child and that they just want to see us grow and be happy. I am 110% sure that this video will stretch a smile from cheek to cheek from each and every person that has contributed to making the young man you are today. Your genuinity, respect, honor, and carefulness are things that are hard to find in this world anymore. If I could give you one piece of advise, it would be this. Don't ever change who you are for anyone. Don't let the popular kids opinions crowd your mind, don't stray from what you know is right and what is wrong. Things will get tough but around the corner is a patch of green grass. Keep a positive attitude and always understand that somewhere, someone wishes they could have something that we all have and they don't. Continue to be grateful and continue to thrive. I know if they really knew Nick they would realize what a kind and thoughtful person he is. Nick has been through alot of hard times,but it didn't make him bitter or judgemental. As for his videos-Nick has always been an outside kid. One day he just decided he was going to video it and put it on youtube-it,s as simple as that! He never thought that video would blow up-That was just something he wanted to do. Oh yeah, I,ve gotten some slack on being a bad parent for letting him do it,(solo camping),but I was here and knew exactly what happened. I was up all night with my window opened listening and his dad checked on him all night. This was a case where I lost the fight between him and his dad! What you see on youtube is what you get with Nick. I also want to thank everyone for supporting Nick, it really did he self esteem good! I used to be a bully when I was young , bullied a kid just like you. Was really nice . As I grew up I realized how shitty I was for doing that and am now friends with that guy. You are the reason why I changed the way I act toward people. Not everybody has bad intentions in life. You made me get back outdoors and you even got my girl watching your vids!!( try not to steal her btw) you make me realize how much I miss going outdoors and surviving and living on your own work your own wood and your own efforts. This is Nick's mom and I just wanted to say thankyou for your comments. As Nick's mom it really kills me to see some of the comments on his videos. I know if they really knew Nick they would realize what a kind and thoughtful person he is. Nick has been through alot of hard times,but it didn't make him bitter or judgemental. As for his videos-Nick has always been an outside kid. One day he just decided he was going to video it and put it on youtube-it,s as simple as that! He never thought that video would blow up-That was just something he wanted to do. Oh yeah, I,ve gotten some slack on being a bad parent for letting him do it,(solo camping),but I was here and knew exactly what happened. I was up all night with my window opened listening and his dad checked on him all night. This was a case where I lost the fight between him and his dad! What you see on youtube is what you get with Nick. I also want to thank everyone for supporting Nick, it really did he self esteem good! As for the others Nick knows that not everyone is going to like you.
