Nick that wood is actually Poplar, African Paduak, Oak, and Aspen. I should have put that wood list on the back of the piece. I guess I forgot it. The Knife is made of Oak with the blade and I think the handle was Red Cedar not sure because I make so many of them. The knife makes a great letter opener or a wall hanger as I call it. Anyone that wants to email me is more than welcome to ask for stuff, I do not run a business, I work out of my garage and I am willing to make anything if I can. I am glad you liked them. The carbon steel will discolor over time and rust if you leave it wet, but I sharpens up easier than stainless steel. Keep an eye out I sent you another item for your Pine Grove Cooking... What kind of knife is that, it’s something. The scale will be great and the tapestry background is a great idea. That teapot is perfect. YOU NEED pizza for treat night in the woods, I get it in the 15 year survival packs and have made it to see how it was before re ordering. Ordered 5 more because that kind of food keeps spirits up. It was a little messy, bring a damp towel, ha. And the pancake mix will last 15-25 years unopened and I sent it because I found that spray can of non GMO (probably all maple syrup is non GMO come to think of it) etc spray and thought it would make a good bushcraft breakfast. Alaskan Yeti .. Dear Alaskan, There is a place the locals like about 20 minutes north of me next to the river. However we are spoiled because we are used to either walking in to get away from humans or driving off the beaten path. None that exists around here. But we did tried this place. First thing you see is the hundreds of RVs all generating and thinking they are camping. Then, because we were early there was a spot with room near the river. Hooray, we set up the tent and got all the stuff out of mothballs and sweltered in the heat. Then the families started arriving and drinking and playing their music. So I thought, oh well, the woman at the office stressed strict rules about the 10:00 quiet time. Everybody was by now in the river. A bunch of pre teens came to jump from a tree probably used by generations of relatives to climb up and fall into a decent hole of cool water. But then all that nostalgia came to an end when one of them grabbed a snake fitting into the gaps of the tree where they put their feet to climb. He just threw it to the ground and it slithered about 20 feet from me under a rock. He did it with little effort and no hesitation I asked him what kind it was. Oh I didn’t notice was the answer and I’m sure he wasn’t just being a smartie. Check 1, snake of unknown origin in campsite. So it was time to cook and since it wasn’t a rustic trip we came with an ice chest. Usually I would try to hide the ice chest but it was ordinary and actually mandatory in this campground so dinner went as planned still using my backpacking stove from the 70s. Then dark finally came, people walking to the bath house, catching parts of each conversation, waiting for the air to get down to at least 80. Jump to 1:00 am..... So hot I’m wondering what I could have been thinking camping in Texas.. woke the Bear next to me up and said rise and shine we are leaving. What, what, why? Because if that car isn’t loaded in 10 minutes with AC working on pneumonia I’m going to kill you. The decision was made to just bring the expensive stuff, go home, and have the bear go back in the morning to break down and make noise. Moral of story, there shall never be summer camping in Texas again. We have had great non rustic luck during the week in ruidoso N.M. with the added bonus of gambling $20.00 limit in the casino. The trip is said to be about 10-11 hours. It always takes us 12. We like it there, high altitude, snow in winter, cabins if your snow camping days are over but the temp goes from about 75 to the 50s at night so I was happy. No body else in the campground, it was as close to the high country in no calif as I’d been in years. But Friday night came. You can guess how that went. Anyway, I still recommend it during the week. My background is born and brought up in Connecticut, moved to California when it was good in the sixties, then a lot of years at 9,000 feet in Colorado--best bad weather I ever lived through. Sometimes snowing on 4th of July. Then in the late 90s we decided to retire in Hawaii so we did. Perfect. I spent everyday in the ocean for at least an hour but sometimes until I just got hungry. However, my son had my grandson so we started flying to Vegas to see Jack, the love of my life. Then they decided to move to Texas. TEXAS, you mean that place it took us 2 days to drive through when you were a baby in 1968? Yep, I hadn’t heard wrong it was Texas. So one thing lead to another and I told the bear we were moving. He thought I was kidding but noticed more cleaning was going on but this guy lives in an unrealistic world where if something doesn’t make sense that I’m up to he ignores it. Then the for sale sign went up. OMG..... We are moving to ?TEXAS? Blgh blab, I hate Texas, I did basic training in Texas, it was a wasteland. There’s a water park there, how bad could it be was my answer as I continued the moving routine. He was still in shock when the house sold, as the moving and draying company loaded the truck. It hit both of us as we waited in the old Kona airport that was right out of a 50s movie that yes we were moving to Texas but Jack would be there. So once here (and here’s the part you are interested in) we tried for years to come up with something off the beaten path where we would be shot for trespassing. The best I can do for you is give you names of a couple of restaurants. Things get better in November when the weather gets cooler. We like winter, the 2 months of it, even though the trees are bare, no one goes out much and we don’t feel like 2 people living in a place without a decent ocean or a mountain with snow. We even buy a cord of wood and the rule is that as soon as the temp reaches 49 we burn wood. So I guess I’m not your girl for a guide. In San Antonio there’s a place called Mi Teira, spelled wrong. But you can kill a night there. PF Chang’s down by the quarry. Trader Joe’s and Central Mkt for groceries. In other words you ain’t in kotzabue anymore. No Dairy Queen at 2am because it’s still light out and the way the locals are looking at you ya just keep moving. Up here we have a town called Gruene. We are vendors there because worthless, aka bear, makes Swarovski earrings every 3rd weekend except August and December. There is Gruene Hall, the oldest dance Hall in Texas, a General store, an antique store, restaurants and a decent way to kill off another day. Not recommended during summer vacation or hot days. 🌺
That new knife of yours is a Swedish made knife that is only made in the small village called 'Mora'. I spend my winters in that town and happy that they managed to satisfy yet another wildlife enthusiast. Keep being yourself and you will continue satisfy others the way that knife satisfies you

Its a classic swedish brand, they have been making knives for well over a hundered years for all kinds of users including all of the Scandinavian armies. We like it there, high altitude, snow in winter, cabins if your snow camping days are over but the temp goes from about 75 to the 50s at night so I was happy. No body else in the campground, it was as close to the high country in no calif as I’d been in years. But Friday night came. You can guess how that went. Anyway, I still recommend it during the week. My background is born and brought up in Connecticut, moved to California when it was good in the sixties, then a lot of years at 9,000 feet in Colorado--best bad weather I ever lived through. Sometimes snowing on 4th of July. Then in the late 90s we decided to retire in Hawaii so we did. Perfect. I spent everyday in the ocean for at least an hour but sometimes until I just got hungry. However, my son had my grandson so we started flying to Vegas to see Jack, the love of my life. Then they decided to move to Texas. TEXAS, you mean that place it took us 2 days to drive through when you were a baby in 1968? Yep, I hadn’t heard wrong it was Texas. So one thing lead to another and I told the bear we were moving. He thought I was kidding but noticed more cleaning was going on but this guy lives in an unrealistic world where if something doesn’t make sense that I’m up to he ignores it. Then the for sale sign went up. OMG..... We are moving to ?TEXAS? Blgh blab, I hate Texas, I did basic training in Texas, it was a wasteland. There’s a water park there, how bad could it be was my answer as I continued the moving routine. He was still in shock when the house sold, as the moving and draying company loaded the truck. It hit both of us as we waited in the old Kona airport that was right out of a 50s movie that yes we were moving to Texas but Jack would be there. So once here (and here’s the part you are interested in) we tried for years to come up with something off the beaten path where we would be shot for trespassing. The best I can do for you is give you names of a couple of restaurants. Things get better in November when the weather gets cooler. We like winter, the 2 months of it, even though the trees are bare, no one goes out much and we don’t feel like 2 people living in a place without a decent ocean or a mountain with snow. We even buy a cord of wood and the rule is that as soon as the temp reaches 49 we burn wood. So I guess I’m not your girl for a guide. In San Antonio there’s a place called Mi Teira, spelled wrong. But you can kill a night there. PF Chang’s down by the quarry. Trader Joe’s and Central Mkt for groceries. In other words you ain’t in kotzabue anymore. No Dairy Queen at 2am because it’s still light out and the way the locals are looking at you ya just keep moving. Up here we have a town called Gruene. We are vendors there because worthless, aka bear, makes Swarovski earrings every 3rd weekend except August and December. There is Gruene Hall, the oldest dance Hall in Texas, a General store, an antique store, restaurants and a decent way to kill off another day. Not recommended during summer vacation or hot days. 🌺

Really liking your videos Nickolas! The knife you got is named after the swedish town Mora, where it was made (kniv means knife in swedish). Its a classic swedish brand, they have been making knives for well over a hundered years for all kinds of users including all of the Scandinavian armies.
