That happens a lot online, people seem to prefer sketch-er drawings rather than fully rendered pieces. I'm not sure exactly why but even i see it as a comically small artist
When I see the sketch, it removes the mystery of the painting. Makes it seem more like "oh ok, i think even i can do this". With fully rendered pieces, wouldn't even know where to start. Maybe that's why.
Possibly because it feels a lot more loose and personal I suppose? One way to look at it is artists who post only fully rendered finished pieces feel a bit more intimidating, as opposed to someone who posts their work in progresses or silly meme doodles, they feel more approachable imo.
It could be because this way they can see their own idea of how it should look since the lines are loose and less refined. Vs fully rendered there is only one way to view it, the artists way. But I'm not sure either haha, because most times I don't even like my own art as much fully rendered either.
I posted a sketch and it got over 500 likes, I posted a fully rendered drawing (of the same thing but different drawing) and it got around 170 (not saying that that's not much but I was honestly surprised by the attention the sketch got)
I personally really like the look of sketches because they are less polished but it tends to be more... dynamic? Like since it isn't so complex the movement or expressions is really the focus and it's just nice overall. Though as an artist I'm a perfectionist and hate my own sketches lmao
Is there a particular reason why you prefer Photoshop for more refined art over CSP? I’ve been meaning to get into digital art properly and I’m grappling with what programme to use. Edit- Also gorgeous doodles 😮

this also happens to me 😭 it feels like it wasn't worth posting rendered pieces

I'm so sorry; Moved to a new country recently so it's been a rollercoaster IRL. Soon! 😭
Nipssss I can never draw ears. The head/facial position never matters. Any tips? Thanks for the upload
As someone who shares a similar name as the first character I give this video a 11/10 😌😂 Ty for indirectly calling me a badass 🤣❤️
