During school and my career, I had TONSSS of deadlines so i wanted to make a video on how to quickly make my art better!! Hope this can help you guys! 💕
I feel like you are the definition of a Digital Artist. You use every digital exclusive tool in the book! If you had to switch to a different medium, how much do you think the quality of your work would suffer? I know that I've started to fall into the trap of relying too much on digital tools as a crutch, and I was wondering if you were the same.
@@zeteri4563 well their are some scenes in his other videos where he showcased some current made traditional art or did it and it looked like amazinf maybe not as amazing but certainly good so i reckon hell be aightg if he switched mediums likehe might just need some weeks to get used to it tho
A cool technique I learned years ago with gaussian blur. Duplicate your layer, apply the blur, then set that layer to overlay. It will give a nice glowing kind of look. Just don't overdo it, usually a small amount of blur and then lowering the opacity on the overlay layer!
fun story about gauss: his teacher got mad at him when he was a kid and his punishment was to add up all the numbers between 1 and 100. pretty grueling, right? well, apparently not, because within a few seconds he told her he had the answer. obviously, she didnt believe him. just a few seconds for adding up all those numbers? no way! his answer was 5050, but she didnt believe him and spent the next 30 minutes adding up all the numbers only to find out he was right. how'd he do it so fast? well, you don't have to add up the numbers sequentially. gauss recognized that 1+100=101, 2+99=101, 3+98=101, etc etc, until you reach 51 and 50. there are 50 such pairs of numbers, right? 50 groups of 101 is just 50×101, which is 5050. this is actually a formula for calculating triangular numbers :) its pretty cool
Guys if you ever wanna try to buy an actual drawing pad with screen for a reasonable price, I would recommend to buy Huion kamvas pro 13. I’ve been using it for 3 months and it is one of my best purchases. Even though it’s not Wacom, it’s still good quality to use and beginner friendly.
@@kaeya2333 My parents are convinced that I'll ignore my studies if I'm allowed to use a drawing tablet, so they're keeping it until around July. It's fine
hmm ah yes time for some MULTIPLY, OVERLAY, ADD, COLOR DODGE, GRAIN, DUPLICATE LINEART AND GAUSSIAN BLUR THE BOTTOM LAYER AND SOME RANDOM 90s ANIME SUBTITLE YELLOW FONT 🤠
Just a tip; even the "deepfried" piece looks cool, and if you enjoy how the colours look but want it to be more subtle; duplicate the layer and lower the opacity whilst playing with multiply, or overlay. I find it adds interesting colours to a boring piece.
Ibis paint has color dodge... Just go towhere you see the layer screen...on the bottom right is the word normal(make you're on a new empty layer on top of the other layers) click on the normal then there are many choices click on color dodge... Then just brush on the canvas with whatever your color choice you can experiment and it'll have that light effects...
A client asked me to make my illustrations have "more impact". I tried the tips of this video and they worked nicely, the client was very happy! My favourite is the gaussian blur one 😁 Thanks man 😃
I made a bet it was color dodge as the 5th, and the flip your canvas just made me scared i would lose for a second XD You really got me there, love you
Wonderfull artwork as usual 🥰! I'd like to suggest to try out ibispaint! Some people say that its not a great drawing app but I personally believe it serves its purpose. I'd like for young artists who want to try digital art but don't have access or own a fancy drawing pad to not be afraid of what they can use meanwhile. My digital art is very good after I've tried on ibispaint for 4 years and I'm happy I didnt wait to get a drawing pad. Please try using ibis paint and show us your what u think!
I can’t believe that I just started using Gaussian Blur on my illustrations in 2021! 😱 But I have used Curves & Color Range since forever, it helps you discover NEW palettes 😆
Yeees yeeees colour dodge is one of my favourite layer filters that i use almost in every drawing. I tried it on my second attempt to draw a CSP and I almost shed a tear of how beautiful my piece came! Sometimes I use it on eyes with darkest background to make my character more sinister
@@HypeClipsLive So far I have no complaints, it’s not too complicated and easy to work with. The pen it comes with is outstanding and surprisingly very light! The tablet doesn’t limit you and the sky is the limit really. I hope this helps!💓

Set it to screen you will get a bloom effect
