Hey there. It took a while, but I couldn’t dedicate entire days to it. I could only work in a few hour increments at a time. For my walls, if I had guess on the amount of hours, I’d probably say somewhere close to 80 hours.
It’s not bad. Most important thing is to make sure your first row is level. You do have to keep checking as you go, though, when you put each stone on. I liked to use some broken pieces of shims to help me keep things level along the way. You can always remove them when the adhesive dries.
Wow really looks great. I will be using Air Stone after I get my fireplace framed out. Thanks for the tips
Thanks! Appreciate that. Yeh, it’s really a great product. Good luck!
Great DYI, Tips! Thank you for making this video.
Sure thing! And thank you for watching! Good luck!
Thanks for the tips
Surely! Hope it goes well for you if you choose to install.
Lots of great points. Thanks!
Excellent! Thanks for the feedback. Good luck!
I’m doing this now on my three sided fireplace. It’s a real pain with how many cuts I have to make but is looking nice so far.
Oh man! I bet that will look really nice! But yeh, the airstone stuff is certainly time-intensive. Thanks for stopping by!
@@daddoesvideos came out great. Awesome channel btw. Subscribed.

How well do you think this would adhere to paneling and paneling with wallpaper on it?
Hey there. I’d take down the paneling and/or the wallpaper first. Then, I’d apply the airstone.
Looks great. Any issue with gaps thus letting you see the wall behind?
Ah. Good question. I painted my walls a similar color to the stones. That way, if there’s a gap it’s not noticeable.
When you received your air stone, were they dusty?
Maybe a little?

What is the avg time did to take install the stones walls?

How hRD IS IT TO STAY LEVEL AS YOU GO UP THE WALL?
