      Right on, just don't try any of that whiskey throttle... It will not end well! 😂 Aaron KNOX

      I just got the 23 300 that Kaplan cycles on UA-cam is currently videoing and also installing a 500 kit as we speak

    Just picked up mine on the weekend, installed a carbon pipe guard, aluminum skid plat, Scotts steering damper and Enduro Engineering hand guards and she's ready to take her for a rip! Great Video!

    Really nice 'toy'. Time to find some places to ride this pretty. And as always a delightful review. Well done.

    I just bought an EC300 and spent the last couple months getting it geared up. I’ve been off of dirt bikes for 40 years and I’m probably a 3 out of 10 at this point! Hopefully this bike dosent try and kill me like my CRF 450RL does every time I ride it!

      Its an awesome bike, just need to treat it with some big respect. Just spent a few days riding the 4 stroke EC350f and that is a lot easier to manage for a non-pro rider. Thanks, Aaron KNOX

    Hi lads. Fantastic reviews as usual. Quick bit of advice: I'm a gs 1250 rider who does trails (sometimes to big for the bike) and wanted to get an additional bike that could ride a couple of hours max to trails, but was much lighter, is a four stroke and a bike i could lower by 40mm at shock and forks .....I'm just under 5' 7"...many thanks in advance!

      Hi, thanks, glad you enjoyed! Well... you can get lowering links for these now, they are quite reasonably priced and easy to fit. My close friend is a very good enduro rider, but is around 5'3". He has a lowering link fitted on his Beta 300rr and runs rings around us all! Aaron KNOX

    Can you guys please review the BMW F900R? You did the walk around 2 years ago in the Motorcycle Show but want to see you guys doing reviews of it in the real world with drag races and all ☺️

    What are the service intervals, Aaron? I'd really like to use this bike as an urban demon with the occasional foray off road, but not if it needs a service every 2 weeks! Or am I being daft?

    • @KnoxArmour
      @KnoxArmour  2 роки тому +1

      Yeah not as bad as you'd think. Change the oil every 15 hours or so (incredibly easy) and a piston change every 100 hrs or so (not that difficult). 2 stroke servicing is much easier and cheaper than the 4 stroke variants. Hope that helps. Aaron Knox

      @@KnoxArmour Thanks Aaron. 15 years for an oil change is pretty good, though! 🤔 Hours, ofc. 😉

    Please could you share the actual green lanes where this is filmed ?

    • @KnoxArmour
      @KnoxArmour  9 місяців тому

      Basically, all of the legal ones in Cumbria. You can find them on the Cumbria County Council website... although some of the rockier shots were filmed on the "old coach road" near Threlkeld, Keswick. Thanks, Aaron KNOX

    for dual-sport riding, it is better to buy a Honister jacket and a 3in1 jacket or an Urbane Pro jacket + 3in1?

    • @KnoxArmour
      @KnoxArmour  2 роки тому

      Thanks, for dual sport riding definitely urbane pro plus dual pro jacket. Urbane pro is lighter and much more breathable than the Honister. Hope that helps. 🙏

    Have you ridden the Yamaha 450 or the Honda 450? How’s the power band hit compared to those

    • @vegasace1767
      @vegasace1767 7 місяців тому

      Old question, but a 450 is an animal. The 300 2T is actually a lot more manageable than Knox is making it out to be. Yes the 300 is wicked fast, but the 450 is actively trying to rip your arms off. The 2T is much better in tight technical hard enduro terrain and the 450 4T is great for an experienced rider in high speed open terrain.

    This is so funny. The moto bros at VitalMX declared the fueling on this bike to be poor. Then your report says no issues, and my ownership shares no issues. Oh well, it ain't a motocross bike, so it must be junk.
    Also, I see poor reviews of the brakes. I spent a day three weeks ago in a near vertical, rocky environment. My front brake felt great, and never failed, as my buds and I dared each other to try different lines up a mega huge hill. 😆

    • @KnoxArmour
      @KnoxArmour  2 роки тому

      Well, I dont think there is any issue with the fuelling, it feel like it runs really well. Re the brakes, yes ridden in isolation, they're great, but the brakes on our WR250f and other brembos Ive tried in the past have a better degree of feeling and are easier to modulate. Thanks, Aaron KNOX

      @@KnoxArmour The Braktec stuff is much better than the Nissins on the Yamaha products I've had in the recent past. I've used Brembo stuff on borrowed KTMs too, and I just don't see a drastic difference. I'm not simply trying to justify a purpose, but when I see people rag on the Braktec stuff and lament that the GasGas bikes are cheap, it plain sounds silly.
