...I did get misty-eyed when Tangerine was trying to suppress his grief. When a comical, laughably angry, mustachioed antagonist is able to elicit legitimate sorrow...you know the movie is great.

Out for personal profit; but still possessing a sense brotherhood, etc… I’d almost think that Ladybug WOULD be the main protagonist; except Yuichi was technically introduced first. Though Ladybug is the character that strings the other characters together…hmm…

Although I would’ve liked Tangerine to survive, I know that he and Lemon are technically really bad persons but it’s just that he’s such a good character and it’s kinda sad that he died thinking that his brother was dead and thinking that he failed to avenge him. Besides he died in such avoidable way, if he only checked Lemon's pulse he would have realized that he was alive.
As someone who's super close with their brother, their dynamic genuinely made me weep. They were the best part of the entire movie and the use of the song... MAN.

Props to the director for making me care about the scene so much that i was physically agitated by Tangerine's death but still, Prince's actual death did not feel nearly as good as what could have been if they just followed through here.
I heard a theory that tangerine actually saves lemon from dying. Earlier in the movie tangerine asks lemon if he’s wearing a bullet proof vest. Lemon says no. Later we lemon unconscious and tangerine walks past him. We then see tangerine with no tie. So maybe tangerine took his bullet proof vest off and put it on lemon

Yeah this scene effed me up, any strong scene with brothers always gets me. Because me and my brother are really close so when they show that scne of them as kids I was trying not to sob honestly.
Lemon told ATJ earlier a bulletproof vest won't protect him if he gets shot in the neck... At least he helped save Lemon's life by reminding him it would protect him from a shot to the chest ❤️

Okay, if he’s Bond, that’s fine with me. He seems funny in a dry, sarcastic way. He’s not a full on comedian. Like Connery or Dalton. He also seems like he can play a flawed character who takes bumps and gets back up while also being a bit mad. What I don’t want is another Brosnan, who has a line for everything, everything goes his way and it’s just a goofy romp that has everyone but teenage boys and people into attractive men rolling their eyes. A sense of humour is great, but no cringe, please. Give him a shave and a haircut and he’d be fine, if he’s the guy. Is he good in fight scenes?

This movie was great because it was action packed, funny, and cinematic all at the same time. You actually cared about the characters.
