Jordan and Serkis play so well off each other in this scene. Both are great actors, but there's no one-upping with the acting -- they just exist with each other in the moment and created such a memorable scene. My favorite villain intro scene in any superhero movie ever -- perhaps next to Joker in Dark Knight and Thanos in Infinity War.

Klaue's been around for a long time now, and it made sense to kill him in order to turn the border tribe against their own people. Killmonger wouldn't have stood a chance against the entirety of Wakanda.

@Forest Cityy nah. They made it clear that the CGI fight wasn't supposed to be like that but ended up that way because of last minute changes and a rushed schedule. They had ti change the setting of that fight last moment which is why it was so VFX heavy.
Killmonger has a comicbook history of dying and coming back to life, TWICE and now with the tragic passing of Chadwick Boseman, he most definitely will come back, don't know how but he will, even from a business perspective it would be foolish not to bring him back.

People travel lol, my grandmother took a trip across the border for a year and came back with my mom haha. The guy could have just had very good instincts and started running for example. The idea wasn't bad, but they needed to show more steps taken to give the an amateur vibe. Like, shooting a few of the people multiple times, or putting a few bullets in the wall.
Well you also have to consider the comedic effect of the scene and the resulting mini dialog. It delivered really well this way and and it's still a movie

That's what makes Black Panther such a great movie and both Killmonger and T'Challa such great characters. Killmonger is evil, he's willing to kill indiscriminately - but he's right about a good chunk of his argument/worldview. T'Challa is the hero, much more noble and altruistic, but he's swayed by the villain's argument and changes his perspective and approach to life. So much more nuance than pretty much any other MCU film/characters (even when compared to other complex characters like Loki).

In this ficticius portrayal, this was about to happen, and I loved it. If that makes me a villain to you, so be it. Killmonger wasn't evil. Hard to imagine any man would turn down a chance to literally wage a war that would effective make him king of the world. He wasn't advocating genocide or slavery, he was advocating for power through conflict, be it political or tactical, and with that tech, most nations, including America would yield almost immediately.

The idea wasn't bad, but they needed to show more steps taken to give the an amateur vibe. Like, shooting a few of the people multiple times, or putting a few bullets in the wall.
Being a good shot doesn't make a good thief. Leaving zero traces and immediately disposing all security does.
Well you also have to consider the comedic effect of the scene and the resulting mini dialog. It delivered really well this way and and it's still a movie

Man i really wish we could've seen more of this dude. His swagger is different from the villains that we are used to.
Killmonger's way maybe violent but he isn't wrong about many of things he said. One of them is in this scene.
That's what makes Black Panther such a great movie and both Killmonger and T'Challa such great characters. Killmonger is evil, he's willing to kill indiscriminately - but he's right about a good chunk of his argument/worldview. T'Challa is the hero, much more noble and altruistic, but he's swayed by the villain's argument and changes his perspective and approach to life. So much more nuance than pretty much any other MCU film/characters (even when compared to other complex characters like Loki).
@@RLplusabunchofdumbnumbers another important thing is that T’challa understands their point of view over time and forgives them, for example how he offered Killmonger that they could still heal him. Same with Baron Zemo in Civil War after he realized that he killed his father

He was righteous, because he had access to the tools that would rewrite history. How many men have done the same?
If he had remained king, he would have waged war on the western world, as the have been doing for thousands of years , not just to other nations, but amongst themselves.
Yet, because it's 2020 and the spoils have been cemented, he's all of a sudden not righteous in his pespective intent.
It's so easy to as for peace when you are at the top, but human nature never allows it to last, there is always a changing of the guard. In this ficticius portrayal, this was about to happen, and I loved it. If that makes me a villain to you, so be it. Killmonger wasn't evil. Hard to imagine any man would turn down a chance to literally wage a war that would effective make him king of the world. He wasn't advocating genocide or slavery, he was advocating for power through conflict, be it political or tactical, and with that tech, most nations, including America would yield almost immediately.
The irony is he already knew about all the masks. He was a literal genius.

@@MrFragalax it is very overrated. Terrible story, bland characters and some things that don't make sense at all. It also pushes the idea that black people are victims as well in this modern age. It's just a woke film. I would recommend watching the critical drinkers review on this crappy film.
