Paradox Pokemon were only my number two reason why I leaned more towards my version of choice.
Number three was which school uniform color looks more tolerable (and irrelevant thanks to the DLC, where I now runa round in a black-and-gold casual outfit), but number one was indeed the Professor.
Hence Scarlet for me.
(Also helped that I found a used copy of Scarlet in the shop, while Violet was only available as new)

By the time Scarlet arrived I was already way too invested in Violet so we'll have to decide which one she wants when she finally plays it lololol

When I finished White 2 and nabbed Dratini, I didn't want to restart to replay the game(playing it was a years long affair, and getting to the White Treehollow took long enough that it'd been a while since I'd actually played the game) so I legit jusy bought a cooy of Black 2 and used Dratini as my starter lol
I got lucky, this was around when DS games were really hard to find, but Gamestop had a copy for like $30 bucks.
Entertainingly I nabbed a shiny Sandile and Joltik, and because of my Random Shiny clause, my team looks half competetive and half trihard lol
Might consider retiring Pepto the Dragonite, though. He's kinda falling behind, surprisingly.

The sad thing is I love Shiny Gible and Gabite. Shiny Garchomp looks better in the DS Hames but it's still pretty meh.
If I got the Gible, I'd probably trade 'em to White and use an Everstone Starter.
I still hold my conspiracy theory that Nintendo purposely made the difficulty settings in B2W2 so stupidly annoying for anyone to play the game that way just so they could justify not adding difficulty modes in later games
I would believe that if it wasn't for all the other infuriatingly stupid things that they have done with pokemon that I am sure it was just more incompetence.

By Nintendo I think you mean gamefreak since they are the ones responsible for making the mainline pokemon games and the decisions for them since gamefreak is the main developers of pokemon. Nintendo has never made a mainline Pokemon game or had any influence or involvement of the development of the mainline pokemon games.

I don’t see how that’s possible when they don’t own gamefreak. Some even still believe that either Nintendo owns gamefreak, Pokemon, and also makes the mainline games as well. Just like some people believe that gamefreak makes the anime, the manga, and movies when that isn’t true at all. This is one of the reasons why I don’t take Pokemon fans seriously even though I am one as well. Some Pokemon fans can’t even research. I’m pretty sure gamefreak would have a say in getting rid of themselves from pokemon. As well as who works on the mainline games other than gamefreak. But since pokemon is all gamefreak has that even makes them money and relevant since all of there non Pokemon games doesn’t make money even close to Pokemon.

That one took me a while to get, but also I'm a night owl, so it was the opposite of the opposite when I played Moon.
It should be a thing more often to get more sets of gym leaders in each version. Makes the playthrough of each feel more unique

I bought both Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire (not at the same time but pretty close to each other) because I liked Groudon more, but also then developed a massive crush on Shelly and Archie and wanted to see more of them. Also the version exclusives-

Me and a friend came up with an idea for a Pokémon game where each version would have you start at a different side of the region and depending on the one you’re playing, you experience the whole game differently.

Let's be honest with ourselves, all of us who bought Shield did it mainly for Melony.
As much as I love Melony, I was a little upset I couldn't encounter Bea.

And some, like me, did the opposite for Bea. A friend who got Shield and I jokingly refer to the games as Pokemon Tomboy Version and Pokemon Milf Version.

Sun and moon were the worst. In sun you have like 5 options for each clothing type, but in moon you have like 30. Apparently you could trade the clothes or something, but why did they make it so that moon just had way more options to begin with?

The one thing I dislike the most about these differences is how you need both games to fill the Pokedex...

@@akkiaddizone6889 To make it so you can't complete the game without spending over a 100 bucks? In Rec and Blue it was 151. Same Pokemon in both versions. If you're going to do different Pokemon per different versions don't put them in the other versions Pokedex. Let them get the shiny charm without having to complete 2 games, catch all of the Pokemon in both of them, and trade them. 70 dollars for a sub par game is ridiculous enough already. If you want it to sell a game for 70 dollars, don't sell it broken. Sell a complete game, with a proper physics engine, proper graphics, and actually working mechanics. Look at Violet and Scarlet and tell me if it checks all those boxes.

My version was whichever one my dad saw first at target when my birthday was around the corner.
I typically choose the hot color version with the only 2 cool colors I chose was Diamond and Sword, that's it
In Sun and Moon u can also just enter the Wormhole and not catch the second cosmoem to be able to switch to the opposite timecycle.
When I was 10-ish I spent all of my gift money for the year on both versions of Black/White, then again with Black/White 2. It was super fun seeing all the version differences, those games had a lot. I think Black/White 2 have 3 or 4 locations that are different for each version (including music), I haven't seen another game do that.

Fair, biggest reason for S&S was which people to beat up, foot girl and fat guy or shota shy-guy and milf... tough choices of who's animals to beat up, lol. Black and white definitely had the beat differences, though I did like the future past stuff of S&V. Obviously it makes more sense in Violet for end game reasons, but the past pokemon look cooler.

HG and SS did something weird as they made their mascot legendaries have a real epic cutscene, although you can still obtain both of them through normal means, with the other one just being there

And I seriously wish they brought back a Easy and Hard mode.
One for people who just enjoy the story and want to breeze through it and the other for people who really want to challenge themselves.

I normally always go with the blue versions but ended up playing shield as my main because of galarian ponyta (and then i didnt even put it on my team💀)

I had always wondered why it was always night in my Ultra Moon game.
Since the RBY days, I always chose the second option upon release. So Blue, Silver, Sapphire, Pearl, and so on. It’s a different system, but that’s how I did it
I honestly never noticed the UI differences between Pokemon Black and White. That's neat.
I always run into the issue of picking cool boxart legendary, but ending up regretting it because all of my favorite version exclusives are in the other game. My favorite color is blue, but it's always the warmer color I'd have preferred in hindsight. I never learn.
