- The original storyboards for Episode 4 of Mr. Stain On Junk Alley, Heavenly Bird, as drawn by Wakako Masuda. The storyboards were scanned from the booklet included with the Japan-exclusive Volume 1 release of Mr. Stain, then painstakingly cropped and resynced to match the audio of the finished episode. Also features a comparison between the storyboards and the finished episode. This took a lot of time and effort, so I hope you all enjoy it. I'll be giving Binoculars and Seed the same treatment at some point in the future.

I love the style of drawing or animation, and the sounds they put into it, I speak a little English because my language is Spanish but that doesn't stop me from seeing this work of art ^^
After watching a couple of episodes of this cartoon, I realized that for me it is very creepy, although I like it! The gloomy atmosphere draws me in. Now after I watch the PTP Japanese dub, I'll start watching MSOJA (short name of the animated series)! Thank you for the fact that thanks to your channel I can watch such a wonderful animation! Kedamono doesn’t have a voice in the original series. Are you talking about the Japanese fandub? If so, no one is sure who did the voices.

Off topic but always thought it was weird that if it did have one, that the funny pets test pilot never came out to the public considering Mr.Stains and Popees had one that was on the dvds. Wondered what it would of looked like, but then again, considering Kidstation hated Funny Pets, they probably didn’t allow it to be distributed or maybe it was a legal thing idk. One thing I know is that I am probably the first person to wonder if Funny Pets had a unaired pilot
You aren’t the first, I remember conversing with another commenter about that same topic a few years back. It’s possible that a formal pilot was never made, with whatever scenes Ryuji used to pitch the series being incorporated into an actual episode(s).

Basically nothing. Just a list of what bonus features are on the disc and some credits.

It involves doing the exact same process over and over for each individual drawing, and making sure they’re timed correctly can also take a while. It’s not difficult, just time-consuming.

Unfortunately, the storyboards for full episodes of those shows have never been made publicly available. If they were, I’d upload them.
In the DVD feature “Popee the performer-behind the scenes.” You can see a storyboard passed down to one of the animators however this is the only storyboard we have of Popee the Performer. If the storyboards are still around, they probably are with Rjuji Masuda and his wife or someone else who worked on the show or in KidsStation vault. Whoever owns the storyboards to Popee the Performer and Funny pets and the rest of the storyboards, they aren’t probably gonna be available to the public for a long time considering storyboards are under copyright law (then again, KidsStation doesn’t really care about the copyright on Masudas shows he worked on in KidsStation so if these were to be leaked, they probably wouldn’t bother taking them down.)
@@grizzlydino I don’t think the Behind the Scenes video was a DVD feature. I own all the DVDs and it wasn’t included on any of them. I’m aware that they showed a very pixelated glimpse of a storyboard in that video, but I specified that no “full episodes” have had their storyboards leaked. Wakako Masuda actually posted a handful of storyboard drawings from a few episodes on her Twitter account, but no full episodes, and a few further glimpses can be found printed inside the insert included with the OST CD.
