Gaius Julius Caesar if Mexico builds a wall in the south it won't need one with the u.s since the majority of illegals are arriving from central america.
@@asadianbelifont3875 god Damn someone is salty just because they found a way to use the system that has been fucking you guys for years. Dont hate them because they are smarter

You would think if they were cracking down on their border since 2014 they would have gotten it together by now??? The media don't do nothing but lie and all these idiots believe it smh
My heart really breaks for these people, and I want them to be able to be safe and I think our government should help, however I don't want them flooding our country like a goddamn plague. It wouldn't be the worse idea to send in US troops into Honduras and El Salvador to fight the gangs
LivTheGreatTV my exact thoughts like to fight illegal immigration you have to fight back at its core and really if you don’t help out the corrupt countries it’s just gonna keep happening.
Mexico does a lot, it does what it can. The US is lucky to have Mexico as a border shield or maybe you want to be next to central America and Venezuela, think about it.
And how they wont, as much as the wall costs, as much will they get less in the annual handouts that US government gives them every year, or just sanction the trade and thats it.
Dont forget, this already did happen with Pakistan when US cut a part of the funding because the person who helped American troops to kill bin laden, was sentenced... They just cut the wall costs and the price is paid in full.
Tech Tubee if you use annual handouts, that’s US money not Mexico’s , and any trade sanctions will just be pass to the US consumers in taxes, I am not trolling here, there is no way a sovereign country will pay for something they will never build
Jose Campos It’s called the DNC national platform. You seem smart too bud, read it, “Those immigrants already living in the United States, who are assets to their communities and contribute so much to our country, should be incorporated completely into our society through legal processes that give meaning to our national motto: E Pluribus Unum... We should ensure due process for those fleeing violence in Central America and work with our regional partners to address the root causes of violence. We must take particular care with children, which is why we should guarantee government-funded counsel for unaccompanied children in immigration courts. We should consider all available means of protecting these individuals from the threats to their lives and safety-including strengthening in-country and third-country processing, expanding the use of humanitarian parole, and granting Temporary Protected Status.” Aka little Honduras lol
You have it wrong. Trump is talking about the Mexico-US border. He wants Mexico to do more on that border. He doesn't care about the southern border of Mexico. Please don't cause more hate than needed even if it's against someone like trump. You are a news serivce.
@Eddy Rose You Do realize Central Americans have to enter Mexico to reach the USA. Once they’re in Mexico, they eventually try to cross the US-Mexico Border.
why do you think Mexico is doing this? It is much easier to catch people at the Southern Mexico board than the Southern US boarder because of its size. Mexico is hoping for two things: Less Central Americans making it to the US boarder and more jobs for Mexicans in Mexico .
theodore scott because they are illegally crossing international borders. Which in the United states is a federal crime. At that point making them a prisoner. And prisoners are people who have their rights suspended from them.
I feel bad for these people and wish them the best but Mexico qnd tue United States aren't some sort of refugee camp where we can take in the worlds problems.Did you lnow that there are more Salvadorans in the US then in El Salvador i mean come on.Its sad and all and a bunch of horrible things happen to them but there has to be a limit and we have our laws too.We need people who will help our country not like most of these people who will most likely work minimum wage jobs with no education and live off the goverment.
they don't live off the government, they can't claim no benefits if they've crossed the border illegally but yeah, most of them work minimum wage jobs.
When a grown man, and I do mean man,...cries because he just wants to live....just wants to live!!.... ...man...there's something wrong in this world!!!! If that man's TRUE emotions doesn't get you inside.....dammit you're worthless as a human. God forgive us all.
VINOD MATHEW ask that same question to the leaders of the country’s that these people are fleeing from. We offer asylum in the United States. But it’s illegal to cross any border ... illegally...
@@TerryReedMiss What is your problem Terry? There is nothing wrong with securing the borders of our country. So many lives have been lost, because of our open border policy. Building the wall will cause problems for the Mexican Drug Cartel and the gang MS-13. They will have a more difficult time bringing in Meth, Cocaine and Heroine into the United States to make their money. In order to fund their gangs. If they can’t make money? They’re not much of a threat, right? I can understand why drug addicts would be against the wall. HAHA!!
Really sad to see people treated as animals breaks my heart to see a grown ass man cry nothing but respect for South Americans they are hard working dedicated and deserve respect
Let me get this straight. Its perfectly okay for Mexico to crack down on its own soil and [try to] secure their southern border but yet when America wants to do the same thing on OUR own border, we are the racist ones. Mexico is exercising their right to being a sovereign nation but we shouldn't because we are not racist.
3:00 That's when you have nothing to lose. The only way is forward. I love his tenacity and determination. I wish and pray that wherever he is, he arrives well and thrive. You don't jail a man for trying to live or else he will become a BAD person as DT refers to all of them.
Hiep Hoang, talk about being ignorant. Don't you listen to what he said? He wasn't immigration, so why would he deport him? Same laws apply here in the US
That lady at the end makes it clear that no matter how horrible the US immigration policies make it, people will still think (rightly or wrongly) that moving to the US will make everything better for them.
We have 100,000 Americans living homeless in the state of California alone. These are military veterans, truck drivers, plumbers, Americans with college degrees. Where is the compassion for them? What makes anyone think we can take in these illegal immigrants? We can't!!! We talk about helping others but we're having a difficult time taking care of our own. This video is trying to pull on peoples heart strings. We can't be sentimental fools. Americans come first in America.
SnarlaRae they do. The US gives billions of foreign aid to South American countries. It’s just that these people don’t want to do the hard work to fix these countries. It’s all about poor people fighting for scraps that the countries have. People need to start innovating and creating businesses. Need to stop engaging in violence and apprehend those that do. We aren’t the worlds police and it’s not our job to fix all the poor countries in the world. It’s all in the mindset of the people in the countries. There are many poor post Soviet countries that are wealthy now because the people decided they wanted a better life, but Central American countries don’t seem to want that
TK UA How idiotic are you? Big american companies steal the natural resources and land from central americans. Thats why they are poor. Look up the banana wars.
SirVixIsVexed the term 3rd world was created by 1st world nation's to feel superior, the US has always kept south America weak because it's national security risk, countries like Mexico can't even purchase US fighter jets, this is why Mexico buys euro copters, Russian transport helicopters , just like with imperialism with Great Brittain they left countries in shambles after using their natural resources and placing dummy governments to keep them weak and enslaved, personally responsibility yes but it's easy to say when your country hasnits own federal reserve that makes money out of thin air, only country to have that...
Can someone explain me, why they want to emigrate to the USA? Maybe I miss something, but it is not like the US really want them there and as they are mainly spanish speaking folks, I would expect that more desired destination would be also spanish speaking.
Most Central America countries have been plagued by violent civil wars funded by the US in the past decades; El Salvador and Nicaragua being one of the bloodiest. Basically years of American imperialism in Latin America "Banana Republics" meant American corporations were owning half of the land so they would export their resources cheaper. Democratically elected leaders of Central America were deemed "communists" for wanted to kick out the American corporations, and the US funded militant war lords and funneled weapons to overthrow and kill anyone who supported their views. Drug lords were created from the instability with hundreds of thousands American guns and the lucrative cocaine trails which were very profitable for politicians even in the US. Pretty much sums up 1960-1990 Central American pitfall reaching it's height in the 1980s under the Reagan Doctrine.
Jan Skácel By 2050 Hispanics will be a majority in the US, currently there are places in the US where you can get around with out needing english where I live the buses have English and Spanish signs
That is very interesting. I honestly didn't know that. I have been to America and in USA just once and that was to San Francisco. I thought that the reason why there are so many spanish speakers were due to the relative proximity to south US border.
Mexican law enforcement knew how to handle the situation with the man from El Salvador. I applaud that because in America the man would have most likely been shot to death if the officers weren't equipped with tasers and only handguns, like the officers were in that scenario
Edgar Sandoval the point of what exactly, the big Mexico “crackdown”? He literally admitted to these officers that he is not a citizen of their country, refused their order to put down a machete and their response was, be on your way then good sir, here is some money for a taco. The U.S. is that way. Again, just amazing “law enforcement” 😂
J Olivas They weren't immigration officers. Just like most police departments in the US, they didn't overreach they authority. He isn't a threat to them and is obviously carrying the machete for self protection. Both parties went about their ways. What part of that didn't you understand?
I know the Liberal mentality is when the going gets tough just quit and let someone else do it for you.... But in the real world these people cant all just flee, They are leaving behind people who want to make their home country a better place.
ZubularMobile no, it's not destroying ours. Open your eyes and see. This is the same lies fed since colonies first formed. Mans economy collapses, blame foreigners.. What ppl like u need to do is stop romancing emotions of anger, hate and start seeing things as a whole.
I'm glad to read down the comments only to find compassionate responses, about keeping the topic simply on these struggling people's well beings, there's too much pointing fingers and blaming going around nowadays, but this comment section, atleast some light of hope was shed, glad that there's hope in humanity still, there's so much going on in the world, society, the world. Now, for the immigrants, I hope all of this changes soon, I really do, cause no human being should have to go through this.. wish you all positivity amongst you all and your beloveds.
The man from El Salvador broke my heart. Why are the leaders of these countries doing anything for their people? It seemed very hard for him to leave his country and if their country's leaders would help their citizens they wouldn't have to do these journeys.
There's no time like the present, go help, show them what they've been doing wrong that made their home such a miserable place to be. Go lead them to a brighter future. They are eager to follow the instructions of a foreigner trying to tell them how to live. As soon as you arrive they will place you on a pedestal as a savior and will do everything you say. The transformation will spread across the entire population and shine as a beacon showing what can happen if those in a miserable situation just have a little bit MORE help from an outsider with funny looking hair, skin and eyes that talks all those big foreign words and smells weird.
This reply is from the perspective of a US Citizen. I want everyone on the planet to be happy and healthy, and that starts in my own neighborhood. I don't want to dig back through all the comments to see, but I think the original poster; "One day I will go help" was among a lot of comments expressing sympathy for the populations where many migrants are coming from and a desire to go there and make it better. I agree that their situation sucks, tragic beyond belief sometimes, but it seems to me all the efforts to help in the last 50 years have only served to make them hate us out of jealousy, travel thousands of miles on foot to sneak in and take everything they can get by lying and cheating our government programs, and by extension the taxpayers who drive on unmaintained roads, their kids are surrounded by kids who do not speak the same language, cant get in the emergency room when their kid breaks a leg, can't get a raise at work cause there is a line of people willing to do the job for 1/4 pay, even if it takes 3 of them to produce the same, and the problem is 16 times as large as when we first started helping. You can't help a gambler who is in debt from gambling and is still gambling. You can't help a drunk who is approaching rock bottom but still drinking. The problems they are fleeing are because of the way the population goes about things, it's broke because of what they do and/or what they do not do, it is cultural. The bible speaks of locusts issuing forth, devouring everything in their path and moving on, contribute as little as possible and use, use, use till there is nothing left, sniff the wind for a greener pasture then move on. It was the Mongols who brought about the dark age. . One of the most destructive failings is not abiding by the law. If a significant percentage of the population will ignore the law for a dollar, your society is in collapse and will soon be a s***hole. Those behaviors are brought about by lack of wisdom, foresight and delayed gratification. An illegal immigrant, one who crosses a border without permission, is a criminal, their first act in the US will have been to break the law. How many other laws will they ignore? "Insurance? pfff!, sales tax? pfff! licence? pfff! If somebody offers me a buck I'm gonna take it, if I can get something for free I dont care who suffers as result, I'm gonna take it. I don't care about the consequences." If they do not want to leave that mindset at the border and assimilate into a healthier way of being, good Citizenship, then we can not accept them or else our nation becomes the same kind of s***hole and our kids will want to flee but there will be nowhere left to escape to. Ok when someone puts in a legal request to reject their former home nation and pleads to join ours, how do you know they are likely to become a good Citizen or if you probably better turn them around and send them back? Well you make some kind of effort to safeguard your children's future by digging to see if you can verify where they told you they came from, were they a criminal there? If there is not sufficient evidence to support who they are or where they came from, extreme caution is warranted. Then asking the would be entrant a few questions like; How do you intend to earn money to support yourself?, The common language is English, how long do you expect it to be before you can carry on a full conversation in English and no longer revert to your first language? Do you intend to support the US first, ahead of any other country, including the one you were born in? Important enough to ask every day. In fact I think we all should continually ask ourselves that question. Then if you are ok with their answers you let them in, and watch them like a hawk. If they are not self supporting without government assistance other than perhaps grade school level English, math and civics, within a year, then you throw them out. Or if you see them waving the flag of some other country, you throw them out. Sorry you just did not make the commitment to join our society. Theres good ones and bad ones in every group. You dont want to help the bad ones else next generation there will be more bad ones and less good ones. And if I misunderstood the meaning of "I will go help" I apologize.
@@laserflexr6321 I'm Mexican. I've lived in Mexico, my family is from Mexico. I got a scholarship to study here in the US, and once I'm done I will go back to Mexico.
We need to help our own country the United States has plenty of poverty and homeless that we seem to forget about. We need to take care of ourselves before we can start helping others. That being said we could help bring in more workers with visas or maybe help send over food and supplies to help them. I think the united states just staying out of the issue would be a good idea for once. We need to stop policing the world. Maybe some minor help and funding to help them learn to fish instead of just giving them fish.
Many reasons honestly For one pretty much any major war now would probably spiral into ww3 Secondly with the amount of Mexico born citizens both legal and illegal in the us we would have a civil war at the same time Third reason is fighting Mexico isn't just fighting their army it also involves the many cartels Mexico would pay to help them (not unlike when the us payed the mafia to protect our ships) Honestly the only way that I can think of fixing the border issue is increasing the border patrol from around 20-30k agents up to 100-200k agents that would cost a lot and it still wouldn't be enough to stop it completely.. oh also build that Wall we need (you have to admit even if you don't like Trump the wall would keep out around 55% of illegals crossing in to the us) Btw: some of my numbers may be off but I'm an 18 yo high school dropout so I don't really know everything 😂
If you want to come here then do it legally! Just because you want a better life that's not an excuse to just cross any border. We should have more compassion for our struggling citizens affected by illegal aliens. Americans first!
Angel Gutierrez that's an excuse to break our laws and drain our system? Fix your own country. Americans first! We should have more compassion for our struggling citizens.
that's because they don't spend nearly enough money. a poor country needs to have open borders. i don't agree with closed borders but it did results in a job surplus...which is bad for the gdp
jason200912 there already isn't work in Mexico. People literally sit around in their homes and my family sends them money. If Mexico ever wants to become a first world country, they will need a great border
I've been to Mexico and Central America . I understand that people there want to work in the U.S and make dollars ,but it's so selfish of them to risk their sons and daughters life as it is their wife's well being . I would rather live however I could in my own country instead if going to struggle in another country . I think its crazy . Mexico and Guatemala is not that bad . You learn to live in the environment. Not only that ,but you have a better chance of making it in your own country. Stay home ,be happy to be alive and to have your family. People get threatened in all countries ,this is why you keep your home protected and keep guns in your home .
Breaks my heart seeing the poor man break down and cry. It disgusts me that our government doesn’t see the refugees as human beings with dignity facing hardship. There are no words to describe how ugly the lack of charity and love towards our fellow man is. I wish there is something we Americans can do to help these poor immigrants.

“Those immigrants already living in the United States, who are assets to their communities and contribute so much to our country, should be incorporated completely into our society through legal processes that give meaning to our national motto: E Pluribus Unum...

What makes anyone think we can take in these illegal immigrants? We can't!!! We talk about helping others but we're having a difficult time taking care of our own. This video is trying to pull on peoples heart strings. We can't be sentimental fools. Americans come first in America.
Suprised this is featured on vice.
Tragic how the civilised world does not help Central America Thrive.

The southern border? We are concerned with Mexicos northern border.

An American police officer would never Shake Your Hand while you were brandishing a machete in the other
Can someone explain me, why they want to emigrate to the USA?
Jan Skácel I was born in the u.s and speak spanish. Lots of Americans speak spanish.
Thank you for the reply. I will read something about it.
Mexican law enforcement knew how to handle the situation with the man from El Salvador. I applaud that because in America the man would have most likely been shot to death if the officers weren't equipped with tasers and only handguns, like the officers were in that scenario
Bradley Fenner
I would've shot him f' that!!
Imagine if you met that guy alone.
Bradley Fenner yes, they knew exactly how to deal with that situation...do absolutely nothing. That’s amazing “law enforcement”. 😂
J Olivas Nobody lost their lives here. Isn't that the point???
Edgar Sandoval the point of what exactly, the big Mexico “crackdown”? He literally admitted to these officers that he is not a citizen of their country, refused their order to put down a machete and their response was, be on your way then good sir, here is some money for a taco. The U.S. is that way. Again, just amazing “law enforcement” 😂
J Olivas They weren't immigration officers. Just like most police departments in the US, they didn't overreach they authority. He isn't a threat to them and is obviously carrying the machete for self protection. Both parties went about their ways. What part of that didn't you understand?

Now, for the immigrants, I hope all of this changes soon, I really do, cause no human being should have to go through this.. wish you all positivity amongst you all and your beloveds.
The man from El Salvador broke my heart. Why are the leaders of these countries doing anything for their people? It seemed very hard for him to leave his country and if their country's leaders would help their citizens they wouldn't have to do these journeys.
The U.S. is reaping what the C.I.A. and friends did to those countries back then.
whatever the CIA did or did not do would have been fixed by now, but those countries have always been corrupt.
One day I will go help.
LaserFlexr you're right man, actions speak better than words. That last part made me chuckle.
I don't care about the consequences."
If they do not want to leave that mindset at the border and assimilate into a healthier way of being, good Citizenship, then we can not accept them or else our nation becomes the same kind of s***hole and our kids will want to flee but there will be nowhere left to escape to.

I love it you film the incompetence of the Mexican immigration enforcement..... and then you try and write the story of the opposite tact.
Why not take Mexico to war?
Clean up our backyard, I'm sure more people would wanna stay....
Many reasons honestly
For one pretty much any major war now would probably spiral into ww3
Secondly with the amount of Mexico born citizens both legal and illegal in the us we would have a civil war at the same time
Third reason is fighting Mexico isn't just fighting their army it also involves the many cartels Mexico would pay to help them (not unlike when the us payed the mafia to protect our ships)
Honestly the only way that I can think of fixing the border issue is increasing the border patrol from around 20-30k agents up to 100-200k agents that would cost a lot and it still wouldn't be enough to stop it completely.. oh also build that Wall we need (you have to admit even if you don't like Trump the wall would keep out around 55% of illegals crossing in to the us)
