hesp was the most fun to watch poker player i have ever seen.
what a great personality
But sometimes annoying..
@@jasonmagno5220 aren't all poker players at times
Just a shame he turned to "anti-woke" conspiracies after poker, sad downfall.
Great? How?
This is the most fun final table I have ever seen.😂😂😂😂😂😀😀😀
Where is the funny part? they are acting like idiots
Always was so funny 🤣 7:00 Ben Lamb "I wanna see it!"
Hesp was great. What a fun table. I wish he could have found the fold with the 2 pair.
top 2 is very hard to fold and he shoved, he shouldve called scott's bet on the turn..but still all chips will go down the middle there
unfortunately saved his worst play for last, guess we all have done that, maybe not with the stakes so high
This was one of the best final tables in WSOP ME history. I remember watching it live, and everyone was telling the announcers it's pronounced Pah- lick, not Poh- lock. They kept mispronouncing it. Thanks for posting. For me, this is one of my favs!!! ❤❤ John Hesp was a pleasure.
They kept saying the Sweden champ last name wrong too… Jacobson
Biggest takeaway: DON’T play A10 for your tournament life at the final table!
Worse final table
Polish people must cringe every time they say "Polak"😅
One of the worst?
I've seen all the Years so far, this one brought me to happy tears. Great final table. Congrats Scott.
wish I had three hands 👎👎👎
I love John Hesp was there for Scott when he won and they embraced there on the side with his parents and friends. Pretty awesome.
Today the DEX in By-bit is lagging!!!
I just done video to show that
When you are exchanging it's giving you like 9x^
Ha ha, Norman with the jacket and hat!
I don't give a damn about the critics - John Hesp added a well needed injection into the tournament platform... not a style for everyone, but it doesn't have to be!
He was basically Moneymaker 2.0. Despite note winning, he 100% was.
If it wasn't for Covid a few years later, the momentum of the WSOP main event probably would have just continued on
@@CrazeeAdam the player field was crazy last year and i dont see it slowing down.
@@sixredfish6115
Does the WSOP still require all players to take the experimental medication?
Blumstein incredibly lucky with some of these hands..like ridiculous luck
you need ridiculous luck to even get to the final table
Exactly. All of them were extremely lucky to get there but Blumstein is just an aggressive donkey that had a lot of luck. The same for Sinclair. Salas plays much better than those players. The same for Pollack and Saut
All these guys at the final table are there because of how lucky they got but Plumpstein got lucky in the right hands. He’s not great imo but whatever
Yeah the titman ran hotter than the sun :(
blumstein super coolered the bracelet!.. the AA vs AT was ....... then the 34 vs KJ ... ridiculous... john hesp reminds me when poker was ... actually fun 👍🏻
Hesp, what an absolute gent! Great to watch and brings the table together!
27:14 Hess's daughter looks thrilled. lol
poker is not a spectator sport
Yeah i noticed that 🤣
he s only playing for $8 mill dollars booooring
😅 I was overwhelmed when my dad won 🏆
Hesp is so great, and Piccioli having so much fun was awesome to watch. Guy looked like he was in awe of grandpa the whole time. Also... LIST THE VIDEO. There's a reason why this final table has under 1000 views, PokerGO. You posted this 2017 series Unlisted and you can only watch them by watching the full earlier videos until the end screen where a tiny window pops up suggesting the "next" video, but it can't be searched for. LIST THE VIDEO
Loved watching both but it was nice seeing Piccioli supporting John when he was winging it.
Damian Salas would go on to win the pandemic Main Event in 2020.
finished 27th, the year that Jorstad won it aswell
Thanks A-hole. I wasn't just watching all the Main Events the past couple weeks and excited to watch the next years or anything. Really great to know that. D-bag
He is a good player but his rep aint that well on how slow he takes to finish an action. Thankfully ESPN edited this broadcast but my guy would take forever on decisions even when not necessary.
A couple of guys here are multiple Main Event Final Tablers, shows how poker is indeed a game of skill above all
Who wants to see it? I love Hesp. What a charater.
Hesp was such a character, very entertaining bloke and fantastic player
Lon's comment dead-on : "Hesp, main event meets vaudeville"
That fold of pocket tens in the first hand ? Had Pollak called and held 3 tens ?
Ott showing his 6/4 ? Absolutely brilliant

Very impressive string of years
Very impressive
This is great entertainment. I love it. Todayis May 2024. Never gets old
HESP!!!
Scott give John his chips back.
Making two modern WSOP final tables is always a feat, but I don't think enough people give Damian Salas enough credit for not only making this run, but also getting to be crowned champ in 2020. Yeah, it was only $5000 buyin.
Yeah, it was online, with the only live part being the US champ vs World champ heads up match.
But it was still THE Main Event that year.
Maybe the coolest group of guys on a main event final table.
rofl. "Scott. Give Hesp the chips back". 😂😂😂
Hesp made these pros act like his grandson.
Will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I'm 64. Just like John Hesp! Lol 😅😊. The game needs more guys like him, with a fun personality.
1:06:50 quote about his wife wow John hesp what a legend.
Scott played and runned like a champion!! It was a great WSOP FT....
What a lucky m.! With three 2’s out, you nailed it! Congratulations! 🥂
Most entertaining final table
"Chills Lon, Chills"
Hesp didn't even think about that all in . 😮
I love John Heap
Hesp went from 120M to 20M in a blink of an eye. Two badly played hands is all it took. Moronicness confirmed.
At 120M, with massive chip lead, he could have tightened up and gone home with a second place or better.
Hesp did great for an amateur! Just wish he didn’t start seeing red. Protect the stack! 😂 figure out why they’re raising you 😂 oh well, he was entertaining
Hesp was playing way too many hands
He was there for fun, that thing nobody does anymore at the table.
@@breakit46 fish
@@chriswallentine5404 you are a losing player if you say that. You are clueless.
Still made top 4. Was running super hot tho
Someone has an update on Hesp???
59:10 the ME champ wont be Damian Salas, 3 years a later, hold my beer.
Poor esp just isn’t refined as a player enough to know that when he goes all in with top 2 after his oppenenf 4 bet him that his oppenenf is never calling his all in with a hand worse than a10 and is losing opportunity to keep his opponents bluffs in by just calling.
Hesp didn’t understand that Blumstein NEVER would 3 bet the turn with hands like AK AQ etc, the worse value hand he has is A10 and even that is unlikely
Hesp said himself he is just a recreational player - that being said, he should have thought it through longer.
Nah, the worse play at this final table was Ott going all-in over the top of Pollak's all-in with K-9 three-handed. He has to know that Blumstein is calling with almost any two cards with his chipstack, and K-9 plays poorly in that spot.
And all these videos were norman says a river 2 or 3 never means anything and now he admits it meant something! Great world series! cant wait to see 2018!
Asher Coniff spotting who got 10th in 2022 24:32 underneath the 3h and 9s graphic
Did Blumstein continue to play after his win? Don’t think i saw him anywhere.
Blumstein has more bad read than any players i have known of
He's like Jamie Gold and Jerry Yang..
How do you get to the final table and fold pocket 10s
Agreed. He still gets 3rd place but that could’ve given him position to win the tourney
Pollak folding 10s in the first hand is embarrassing
Hesps hendon mob is really something lol
Fun to watch … 👍😂👍
How do you fold pocket 10s on the first hand?
Money ladder
You either keep them facedown on the table and slide them toward the dealer, or you toss them with a flick of the wrist.
@@Charles.WrightOr you wait for Hesp to raise to 20M before his turn, and then flick your wrist
why they always show final table 1h 30 mins long why they never upload a longer video like 3 hours atleast? they do that with day 1/2/3/4/5/6 but not final table i dont get it why
Positive Tilt is worse than Negative Tilt.👍🙏
i thought cada was a very very lucky champion. but this guy was just as lucky, hit some outs on the ft alone. ott was deffo the better player.
20:20 you’re welcome hahaha
This bracelet looks more like a belt buckle. Can't say that I like it.
Hesp gave a lot of informations during this FT and during the other episodes... but we can see that it works for him, all the others players was affraid of money (Pollak in the 1st hand fold TT). This guy played only for fun, he is 63yo so nothing to proof and his life is "done"
yeah, 63 is close to dying, so why not have fun at that point?
Looks like picollo ruined his friendship with Ruane look he wasn't there to support him lol..
And next, time to see Cada become a legend of the game at a young age still.
Cada got unbelievably lucky... granted, later he got better as a player - but in that tournament he was a fish. Darvin Moon just ran into bad luck on those hands, he played very very well.
Segura su salida Salas! 😂
Hesp how can you shove there 😢 against the other big stack on that board you are literally only getting called by sets, nothing else. Just call that one down against the other big stack.
Segura-mente te agarro el karma Salas! 😂
Lambs shove with A9 was so unnecessary. 20 bbs
I didn’t know they were 20 big blinds. Lamb is just aggressive and looks really creepy 😂
4:51 lol
How the f your grandfather made the final table of the Main Event 😂
Poker is 95 percent luck. It’s not a nuclear science!
blumstein = cada 2.0
Hesp talks WAY too much. He is giving out information like it was candy on Halloween.
His betting is all wrong. He bets 3 mil on the flop and gets called. On the turn he should be upping his bet (unless he is unbeatable) but he makes the same bet which gives the opponent better and better odds to call and suck out. He will never make another final table ever again. this was his one and only fluke.
He will never make a final table again because he doesn't even play it anymore and hasn't for quite some time. He doesn't much care about being a polished poker player.
Hesp is fun to watch, but so active with that stack is just dumb at final table at the main
It was edited to show hands played, John became the main attraction so he had more hands shown. He did nothing wrong in coming 4th, he could have folded to 4th or better but chose to not slow down or sit out. He made a few solid folds here and made a huge mistake over valuing two pair A10. He put the nitty tanking pros to shame, proper schooled them.
Every time blumstein stands up is a cringe moment lol especially @1:04:02 smh 2nd most childish winner ever next to phil hellmuth 😂😂😂
Hesp made a very big rookie mistake with his AATT
LOL the armchair "quarterbacking" is unreal
@@Charles.Wright Well, he has a point... when your re-raised 10m, maybe you should think about for more than twenty seconds. Still I love Hesp's style of play overall.
Not all UK player are BS like him.
Green isn't your color bro...
yea its a lot fun in losing the rent money r u people insane

hesp is still a fish.
And you finished where exactly?
John Hesp was overrated. Nice guy, but he chatted so much nonsense. Also needs to know when to leave. Bring back Will Kassouf.
Norm Chad is AWFUL.
I know right?
That's why they have to repackage all this commentary lol. He can't commentary anything live.
Hesp sucks lol
40:10 Spew of the century.
Hesp’s daughter looked so bored this entire time 😂
