They say the Turian skin isn’t tough enough to provide meaningful protection from bullets, (fair enough) but I bet it could definitely reduce damage from, like, a knife or a small dart. Like a rhino’s skin.
im a little surprise you didn't mention the Unification Wars which is where the paint markings come from, you also didn't mention thier standing in the galaxy as the third council race or the krogan rebellions, you did mention how they are extremly disaplined and organised, i was hoping you would have mentioned the say 'you dont see the back of a turian in battle unless they are dead,' this is cause they are even very organised when reteating (forgive spelling)
the whole turian view on career advancement is actually something my Father takes to heart quite readily. he's a senior technician for a uninterruptible power supply company, having been with them since 2006. if he really wanted to, he could become a manager, but he knows damn well he'd suck at that hard. he is proud of the value his employers place on him in his current position due to his skill, diligence and ingenuity. I genuinely believe he found his place in wider society here and, despite the rather bumpy nature of his work, he is content with his lot.
I really enjoy masseffect and am a fan your series. A few small suggestions to make it better: the audio quality noticbly changed half way through the video sounded like you were whispering to not bother the neighbors. Additionaly consider a making a pop-filter ouch of some sponge, to smooth the recording a little. love the series, and i want to learn more about those rascaly cardassians!
You know that virtually all species in Mass Effect evolved from predator species right? The only ones I can think of that didn't are the Elcor. Most of the traits you describe are even also applicable to Humans, Asari, Drell, Batarians, and Quarians.
Turians encounter humans. Humans go "oh greatest warriors in the galaxy? Prove it, nerds."
Diana Allers "They're a civilization of war nerds" LOL. The character may have been horrible but that line was hilarious.
why is the character horrible?
I really like the idea of a Buddhist Turian.
Also I find it cool, that other species have adopted human religions it is a cool idea.
I like to think that somewhere in the Mass Effect universe there is a Jehovah's Witness krogan knocking on the doors of the residents of the Citadel.
@@armedmage it would make sence, they already have a pretty cult like mentality.
I was showing ME to my 9 yr old nephew yesterday, and he said that Turians have cool voices! :)

Larsa Valeth Your name is very Turian
Give humanity time and the Turians will be replaced in every way.

Who would win?
A sangheili or a turian?
Straight up fight? Elite. Given time to prepare = Turian. IMO
Aren't Elites stronger and more advanced?
Big D Sangheili would stomp
Do Orkz from 40k
Turmunhk Ganba yeah but what culture
