Once again, Blackmagic shook the market with the most affordable Cine Mirrorless with Built in NDs, the Pocket 6K pro. But Greatness often comes with Quirks! Here’s my analysis from a DP point of you that might help you make that decision.

The difference is that Gerald is just a geek that read and the talks about. I asked him a bunch of times if he has a portfolio...nothing! He lacks artistic touch and for me that's a no no. On the other side this guy WORK with video/film! What he says he also tests...in the real world nut just tech specs. That's the true difference between a greek and a artist! Cheers.

Great video. I love your thorough analysis and comparisons that really make your videos so informative and helpful. I have the BMPCC4K, and I'll probably keep it. But, I am looking for a second/backup camera at the moment. So far, I am leaning towards the Sony FX3. While the internal NDs of the C70 are enticing, the price of the FX3 is a bit more attractive. Plus, I also wanted a second camera that specifically had strong AF abilities. Thanks again for another intelligent and useful video. And as others have suggested, it would be cool if you and Gerald Undone collaborated. That would be one INSANE video.
Awesome video as usual, the quailty of the production and the information that you provide is very rare to find. Btw I also own the Bmpcc6k Pro and I agree with you 100% both on the benefits and the drawbacks of the camera. Specially about the batteries. I’m still waiting for the 3200 mah batteries that I purchased on Aliexpress, as this was the closest to 3500 mah that I was able to find. Keep doing the great content 🔥🔥

I like Sony's AF and BMP's Film Look, but I love my S1H. I think it is still the best mirrorless camera on the market.
Yeah I agree! I just wish it had a reliable AF man!! Also suffers from rolling shutter at 6K. But everything else is awesome

Lately I've ben feeling the dire need to upgrade so soon to the 6K Pro. I really like the idea of the 6K Pro so much but your last comment at the end of the video reminded me that it really isn't the camera its your passion. Thank you so much for that comment. It reminded me I can still be patient and use my current BMPC4K until I'm ready for the 6K :).

It's time some camera brand manufacturer got to introduce you as their brand ambassador. The information you put here is priceless. I bet at some point of time, the camera designer thinks "Yeah, Why didn't I think of that? or. I could have designed it better" after watching your video. They use the EF mount to keep down the heat generated from the sensor.
If they would have used the RF mount, the heat dissipation system should have gone on the back of the sensor...making the camera size bigger and with a different shape/design.

I don't think that's the case, they have active cooling system which takes care of the heat. Besides, the 4K is a mirrorless mount, with a much smaller flange distance. The reason which I'm sure of is as I said, Politics and cost for borrowing mounts from other cameras. Thanks for watching
