Thank you for your presentation. Love the way you captured her dark skin color. Many people usually over or underexpose dark skin. her makeup was on point for her complexion. great job.
I feel like BM captured lightning in a bottle with the pocket series and this camera. The look, colors, feel when filming… it’s so awesome. Glad you got to try it out.
On BM cameras you can use the stabilize using the gyro to just remove rolling shutter by simply changing the effect to 0, this will crop in a bit and slant your image to adjust for the rolling shutter issue. Great video man, greetings from Australia :)
Watched it, enjoyed it! Cool stuff! Finding a makeshift bounce is always a welcome thing and I'm so glad there's Internal NDs for my camera, helps a bunch! Appreciate the work you put out!
U switch cameras more than anyone I know .. I love it.. u will have the best idea of what camera is best for what.. in my case the FX6 still has plenty growing room for me and my style of filming
Man, your hands are the size of a baseball outfielder's glove. Tell me you played some kind of ball back in the day.... OAN... great video. My first cinema camera was the BMPCC Pocket 4k. I still love the image that BM creates.
I’m up here having a hard time choosing between BMCC4KFF, SONYFX3 and wondering if they will come out with a SONYFX3 Mark 2 🤦🏾♂️ This video is helping me decide!
My biggest issue when using the BM 6k was the weight! The crew I run with shoot mainly guerilla, what a lot of you call run-and-gun, and the Director had it on a gimbal. My god, my arm was sore within a few minutes.
08:00 you would get much better wrap from that source if you back the light away from the frame to get better coverage of your diffusion. good information in here though.
Love your videos. I was wondering what wide angle lens did you use to shoot the outside of the renting store. It looked pretty wide. Was it the 21mm or something wider. Thanks again for your breakdown. This is helpful for me from a solo videographer POV.
Great video mate. 👍🏽 What if you've prefer the answers from the main angle / interview and she rewords her answers for the other angles? Does it just generally work out ok or do you do some dubbing here and there? 🤓
Did you feel like BM did something big with the new FF compared to the 6k pro? I knew you switched to the RED side but before that you where our go to for this type of stuff BM related
I actually never had the 6k pro ! Just the 4k about 4 years ago Currently I kinda don’t have a “main” camera, still have my KX and use it! But if I’m curious on a system, I’ll run with it for a few months , give some thoughts, then on to the next 👍🏾🫡
hey im looking to upgrade to komodo X from bmpcc 6k pro and 6k FF but can't really find the 10k+ difference in terms of IQ,usability etc. Do you think it is worth the upgrade? The 80fps and the global shutter are good perks but i dont REALLY need them.Any thoughts?
@@KofiYeboah I'm not sure .. I just hear how great the image is on Black Magic Cameras.. I was just wondering considering all the great feedback it gets for the image quality...
Its big draw is probably the image compared to the price! That said not many notable movies are running to grab a $2500 camera because they probably have the budget for something bigger 👍🏾 least I think?
@@KofiYeboah I was purely wondering based on the fact that the FX3 was used in a movie .. Do you think Black Magic has a better overall image than say a Sony fx3 ?
Ngl I feel like the BMCC 6K FF doesn’t need to be in this title. Really is only talked about around 12:30 with a couple other very small parts (like the false color mention). Could’ve probably been titled, “A Day of Solo Filmmaking | Interview Episode”. Was hoping for BMCC content but really didn’t find it here 🥲

I’m having a good time with it so far 😁😁
Perfectttttt Rembrandt triangle in that close up angle with the 45mm!!!
Thanks 🦅🫡🫡
thats another strong point I dont see people talking about. I own so much stuff and have so little room. organizing and storage is very important.
That’s why I love working with rental houses ahah

I should of brought an ultra bounce 🫠
Enjoyed this video! I really like your approach to lighting and composition. That top down shot is especially dope.
Thanks 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Oooooh this is dope! Love the variety and the tip on saving different questions for different angles.
Used to do this when I couldn’t afford a b cam op all the time ahah
That topdown interview ended up looking great! I gotta toss that into a project soon.
Give it a shot!
Sick video! Those BMD cameras are solid
Once figured out a good use case, this things great 🙏🏾
I'm down to watch this! I'm excited to see what I can add to my workflow, got a BMPCC 6K Pro!
Hope you enjoy it! 🫡
It's fun to know that pros use this equipment.
It’s a great camera!
6k is the GOAT. Really well shot 🔥🤙
Thanks!!
This was a dope break down.

Nice breakdown!
Glad you liked it!
Super dope and informative bro.
Appreciate it homie 🙏🏾
Very interesting top-down angle. I like that angle/look and lighting a lot.
What is your intention with how that framing speaks to the subject matter?
Gunna have to wait for that one 🫡😶Issa future video
i love that diffusion screen! Although rather than shoot the interview a 2nd time, easier to setup a 2nd camera. Save time on shoot and in post.
Absolutely, I was a lil scrappy comin up haha

The Nisi C5✌🏾
keep hearing how black magic is such a special camera... Has it been used to film any notable movies or docs?

would you say the image quality is better than fx6?
@@willvazquez3218 oh very interesting, most people were saying it’s worse ;) due to raw internal processing 12-bit Bla Bla😂

Depends on context ! The fx30 has applications where it’s a starter call than the 6k and others if won’t 👍🏾
lol clients in South Africa have total budgets that’s wouldn’t even cover basic gear rental for a job.
😅 that’s unfortunate
The editing is my weakest part I believe! Hitting up skillshare
Give it a try! I spend HOURS on it when I started
Before looks better 🤷♂️ probably because of the glasses. Glasses always hard to deal with.

im working on motorizing my Dana Dolly without having to spit 4,000 dollars
