thats another strong point I dont see people talking about. I own so much stuff and have so little room. organizing and storage is very important.

On BM cameras you can use the stabilize using the gyro to just remove rolling shutter by simply changing the effect to 0, this will crop in a bit and slant your image to adjust for the rolling shutter issue.

U switch cameras more than anyone I know .. I love it.. u will have the best idea of what camera is best for what.. in my case the FX6 still has plenty growing room for me and my style of filming

Love your videos. I was wondering what wide angle lens did you use to shoot the outside of the renting store. It looked pretty wide. Was it the 21mm or something wider. Thanks again for your breakdown. This is helpful for me from a solo videographer POV.

i love that diffusion screen! Although rather than shoot the interview a 2nd time, easier to setup a 2nd camera. Save time on shoot and in post.

My biggest issue when using the BM 6k was the weight! The crew I run with shoot mainly guerilla, what a lot of you call run-and-gun, and the Director had it on a gimbal. My god, my arm was sore within a few minutes.

hey im looking to upgrade to komodo X from bmpcc 6k pro and 6k FF but can't really find the 10k+ difference in terms of IQ,usability etc. Do you think it is worth the upgrade? The 80fps and the global shutter are good perks but i dont REALLY need them.Any thoughts?
If you don’t need the perks of a Komodo X I don’t think you should buy it

Currently I kinda don’t have a “main” camera, still have my KX and use it! But if I’m curious on a system, I’ll run with it for a few months , give some thoughts, then on to the next 👍🏾🫡
08:00 you would get much better wrap from that source if you back the light away from the frame to get better coverage of your diffusion.

Depends on context ! The fx30 has applications where it’s a starter call than the 6k and others if won’t 👍🏾

Its big draw is probably the image compared to the price! That said not many notable movies are running to grab a $2500 camera because they probably have the budget for something bigger 👍🏾 least I think?

Ngl I feel like the BMCC 6K FF doesn’t need to be in this title. Really is only talked about around 12:30 with a couple other very small parts (like the false color mention). Could’ve probably been titled, “A Day of Solo Filmmaking | Interview Episode”. Was hoping for BMCC content but really didn’t find it here 🥲
