Chester would have wanted them to move on without him. Shes not bad. And remember not EVERYONE can sound like him. He has his own unique voice. I dont expect anyone to sound like him.
I feel like sounding like chester is setting up a new lead singer up for failure because regardless of how good they are there will always be criticism. Shes doing great and we should let her cook haha
@@ErenYaeger845 Mike himself said it in the interview. What the goal was with emily was her to be just emily. Her own style that comes with her voice. He even spoke about this unique style of scream emily has. This is not something you can just create, you either have it or you don't. The only other singer close to chester would probably be Oli from bring me the horizon (In my opinion) -> What i mean with close to chester, is his unique voice/singing that you can't really re-create. So i agree, let her god damn cook.

I think I have cracked why she seems off. This song was written in G Minor but because she has a higher register vocals meaning they have transposed up to A#
It´s 3 semitones higher. I don´t really know why they did this though. Chester already had a really high voice for a male, it´s kind of hard to imagine that Emily really had problems with it. I really like her style and the new Linkin Park, but the old songs really don´t sound good pitched up that much IMO

Ella lo hace, trasmite la canción a su manera. Además, es su primera vez en esto, dale tiempo, tal vez en el futuro pueda darnos más de ella, pero por ahora, para ser sinceros, ha tenido un buen inicio y lo está haciendo bien

No one can completely replace Chester, but she sounds incredible on her own merit.

I like Emily's vocals, and I want to hear more new songs with her over hearing her sing old Linkin Park songs.
