Probably that Chinese made Harley will be the cheerleader for Consumer Reports that if you want a quality Harley-Davidson Motorcycle is better off going with the X350 that I has Consumer Reports Seal of Approval to say better of buying Made in China than Made in the USA for the best quality. Probably that could be X350 will be the dream child for Consumer Reports while other Harley-Davidson that are Made in The USA is classified as trash by CR. If that might be the case CR will always say to only buy the X350 and not the Sportster.
I am glad HD will have motorcycles to help ease new riders into having a positive riding experience during the Riders Academy. After their Riders Academy, I am sure they will be happy to test ride a much larger bike. They may even get a used Harley-Davidson, and decide to start test riding more HD motorcycles to find what motorcycle they feel is best for them. Then they drink the Cool-Aid, and make their first Harley-Davidson motorcycle, ring a bell while smelling the exhaust, and listening to a deafening sound of horns honking. Before the Tinnitus kicks in, you will be riding many miles down the road. Take care everyone, ride safe.
The new CEO made it clear that he wants the brand to become a "premium" product. The tea leaves should show you that entry-level bikers are not a market segment that HD wants to pursue. IMO I don't think we will see any HD models under $10k on dealers showrooms any time soon.
When the vin code was making its rounds in the news I knew this was going to be used to replace the Street 500 bikes for their training. Right now this is never going to be "road legal" as they don't have EPA emissions certified.
As for..." American Made ".......do check out the Harley-Davidson manufacturing relationship with ZONGSHEN of China. (The latter being one of the largest and most respected motorcycle engine manufacturers in China)
this has really got to erk the harley riders, they clowned and clowned the japanese bikes which are BTW the best bikes ever made PERIOD! and now their God father does them a power solid and moves harley to CHYNA! oh boy talk about shyt made products! WOW wont be long ALL harleys are made in chyna, and shyttier than ever... ICK!
@DUMBERTHANYOUTHINK Harley motorcycles are purchased here in the USA for its looks sound and history of being produced in the USA. The V-Rod was I believe, the first collaboration. The motor was designed by Porsche, and the bikes' geometry was different. That model did not sell well and was dropped. The CCP is not where they should build bikes and sales will show.
@@johnkelly9246you have to face the facts that American don’t put their money where their mouth are. How many people do you know complain about import product but buy them anyway. Harley Davidson will not survive in 50 year if their prices don’t go down. Their customer are getting too old to buy new bikes so they will have to make them cheaper to fit gen z budget of around 15 to 20k for a bike
@mario-qq7bq And yet they discontinue they very models that fit the price point you state. It was also one of their oldest continually produced models, the Sportster with the evolution motor. They did that too only meet Euro emissions standards. That was also a bad move.
Love little Suzie 😂 but seriously I think with some aggressive tires that could be a fun little bike regardless of where it's made.
