    Just found out about this DAW, although I believe I've probably seen it some time ago. I'll be jumping in to play with it and see how it can be integrated into my studio. Trying to find an intuitive DAW that doesn't kill my inspiration to record and get moving with my music. Thanks, Thomas!

    Can you add tracks from UA-cam after they are converted to mp3 and then remove certain instruments or vocals?

    Thomas Foster musicproduction - Thomas, I had my first BW lesson today after 10+ years with Live.
    I cannot figure out (there's only so much time in a one hour lesson) to scrub through the music. I don't mean a proper scrubbing tool. Say you're in Arranger and you've listened to 4 seconds of an arrangement. I want to get to 14 seconds instantly. I can't do it while the audio is playing. When it's stopped yes. There must be a way?
    Thanks!

    I couldn't get the audio to work. I tried different drivers in the audio settings, but it never worked. The beat tempo plays, but when I click instruments with Live Preview on, try to play some, and nothing comes out. What are the best alternatives to bitwig?

    On PC there is no Core Audio. You surprised me with the Inspector Panel on the right, it took me a while to figure out that this is a function of choosing "Single Display Small." After you load the Drum Machine, I can barely hear the instrument at all as it sounds like you might be listening to these sounds on your studio monitors instead of feeding the audio into the mix with your voice.

      Hello John, anyone who has been part of this series from the beginning knows that I am in the "Single Display Small" mode and that I can toggle it. In fact, I didn't have the speakers on, but used headphones. Nevertheless, thanks for your feedback!

    Vielen Dank für so ein gutes tutorial! though i have a problem when i add notes like you did at 10:00 and try to play them back there is no audio for them, it loops and updates the clip above and my audio works everywhere else. i created a new project and followed your exact instructions and it still does not work.

    • @ThomasFostermusicproduction
      @ThomasFostermusicproduction  Рік тому

      I think you haven't loaded an instrument yet. The easiest thing would be to load the polysynth into the instrument track and see if you hear anything.
      Good luck 🍀

      My pleasure 😌
      By the way it's very easy to use loop base DAW not very big in size but lacks Of tutorials on UA-cam😞
      Then I discovered your channel you almost covered every popular DAW.
      That's why I suggested this DAW "Acid pro"🙏🙇

      @@astheticworld4507 It's nice that you thought of me. My problem is that I don't have a PC setup at the moment that I could use to make videos and Magix Acid isn't available for OSX 😞

    you are at the beginning changing the temp down while it's playing but you do not explain how to do this. please explain.

    • @ThomasFostermusicproduction
      @ThomasFostermusicproduction  Рік тому +1

      To change the tempo in Bitwig Studio, you can follow these steps:
      Open Bitwig Studio and load your project or create a new one.
      Locate the tempo control in the transport section of the Bitwig Studio interface. It's usually found at the top center of the screen, next to the play/stop buttons.
      Click on the tempo value or the tempo control knob. This will activate the tempo editing mode.
      Enter the new tempo value directly using your keyboard or use your mouse to adjust the tempo control knob.
      Alternatively, you can use keyboard shortcuts to change the tempo. Press "T" to activate the tempo entry box, type in the desired tempo, and press Enter.
      As you change the tempo, you'll notice that the tempo value updates in real-time, and any audio or MIDI clips in your project will adapt to the new tempo.
      Once you've set the desired tempo, you can exit the tempo editing mode by clicking anywhere outside the tempo control or pressing the Enter key.
      That's it! You have successfully changed the tempo in Bitwig Studio. Remember that changing the tempo may affect the playback speed of your project, including any time-based effects or synchronized elements.

    The deephouse drums didnt show up. I have essentials, so perhaps its not part of the collection? or I did something wrong.
