  • This client had undergone pelvic floor therapy for pelvic pain, bladder dysfunction and pudendal neuropathy. He had considerable orthopedic dysfunction that needs to be part of the overall consideration. This is part 1 of 2 showing evaluation and part 2 shows response to treatment. Will film part 3 in a few days to discern how pelvic syndrome responds.
This is presented by Dr. Jerry Hesch, MHS, PT, DPT of Hesch institute in Aurora, Colorado.

Thank you for this video. I’m a 16 year old male that has been dealing with pelvic pain/testicular pain for two years. Everything you just said matches what I’ve been trying to tell my doctors for two years. I personally believe my hip muscles, sacrum, and lumbar region has a role in my pain. In addition, I believe my piriformis muscle is inflamed because I am getting sciatica pain and testicular pain. (Pudendal and sciatic nerve is next to the piriformis) I will definitely use this information. Thanks.

Dr. Enigma, You might also look t my videos on ilioinguinal, iliohypogastric and genital portion of genitofemoral nerve. Many types of pelvic movement dysfunction can cause increased tension of the sacrotuberous and sacrospinous ligament and as you know the pudendal nerve traverses between these.

Hello Dr. please I need serious and urgent help. I can’t do my routine activities anymore. I had all the symptoms of pudendal neuralgia that you’ve mentioned in your various videos. But hospital here in China are refusing to diagnose me of pudendal neuralgia.

Hi, I am sorry to hear. Of course there are different causes for pudendal neuralgia, this one being mechanical. Did you see part 2? have you seen my other videos on PN? Have you seen a pelvic floor PT? What city are you in? What is the closest large city you are near? I can do research to try to find someone close by. Also do a search online typing "pudendal neuralgia" and the city you are in. I hope you find relief soon.
      Best regards
      Jerry

@@JerryHeschInstitute I really hope that it can because that's what I'm doing right now and I really don't want to have to go to surgical route and risk making it worse. Because I can tell you already I'm already at my wit's end with this ordeal. It's making me just want to give up on life together. It's causing me an overwhelming amount of stress.

The pattern of the pelvis I find that correlates w PN is lower wind swept pelvis. If you find a motivated physical therapist they can study my material www. Heschinstitute.com
