So Josh suggestion . I worked under a canopy that I installed a mister system on frame of canopy when I lived near where you are now and it made the outdoor temps manageable. Nice video and hope everything is going smoothly and Jace seems happy to help.
Great video as always and right stuff is my best friend when it comes to why my 03 and 04 dont leak any fluids on the ground haha i dont gob it on but its just enough to get a seal💙💙💙 I've fixed a few trans pans that people did the same thing to them and pried on the edge and bent the crap out of it or they crank down the bolts and it deforms the lip on the trans pan, i usually tell them if they can afford it, an aftermarket firepunk or ppe or etc style pan will be a 200% better pan to put on and they wont have to worry about the bottom rusting out like the stock dodge pans are all paper thin so any rudt and they get a hole instantly.. i never understood why dodge put such thin oilpan and trans pan on the cummins trucks.. my oilpan looks brand new except one tiny spot that must have gotten a rock hit and it barely is rusty in that spot but its enough the pan was seeping oil so it got replaced with the "Big Iron" oilpan which is so much better built💙💙💙
Man you need a shop or a RV garage white a lift in it I know how it is do it on the ground and out side it cool seeing how other people do it awesome work
Totally agree the PDD kit is great, nice to see another way of doing it but I ended up taking the entire radiator out when I pulled the front timing cover to tab the dowel pin and change my front crank seal on my VP44 Truck. Left a lot more room for activities like cleaning all the RTV off the timing cover, someone must have been in there before but neglected to tab the dowel pin lol
What could sound like an exhaust leak at high boost coming from the driver side? I’m beside myself on this. At like 33+ lbs and 2500 rpm I get a sound coming from driver side like a clacking like a manifold sound but it’s the wrong side. Any idea what could do this?
Id advise against using the sleeve... plenty of room in the cover. Just press the seal a little deeper or less deep doesn't matter, plenty of room in there. Gets you a few more uses before you have to install the expensive oversized seal kit. In my experience speedy sleeves leak.
@@daviderickson6933 I don’t know what part of the country you live in but that heat exchanger is a good thing if you live down south works warm most of the time then I would take it out, but if you live up north leave it that warms your transmission up in the winter time remember from the 60s and 70s how they had the transmission lines going to the bottom of the radiator that wasn’t meant to cool the transmission. It was meant to warm it up in the winter time.
I do live in Wisconsin and I’ve got the full send diesel temp control pan on it runs coolant through a separate compartment on the bottom of the trans pan look it up it’s actually pretty neat and works really good as long as your not in lockup for to long I’m assuming it’s like that because there’s no heat from fluid shear
Hi Friend, Your vids are awesome! This is Alloyworks! We specialize in the production of automotive radiators, heat exchangers, and cooling system components. We're wondering if we could collaborate. Would you like to put our products to the test and review them on your channel?
These were new when I was doing work for the Chrysler dealership man I put a bunch of VP44s on in those years.
Ahhh. I like these working on customer cars in the driveway videos!

That's a good idea I bet the mist made it way better😊 I wish we had that kind of problem here om the east coast 😅💙

Good Video Josh!
How many miles were on the truck before you did the KDP?

Good Stuff! Keepin it classic!! Keep it up!
Always more leaks to fix on these old tractor motors. Keeping another one on the road.

Does all the trans parts rust sitting in the hot garage in California
Likely not with there being very little humidity.
Nope, the humidity is so low nothing rusts at all.
Oh ok just curious didn’t mean nothing bye it
@@daviderickson6933 all good sir, have 2 machined engine blocks that have been sitting for 4 months same thing
Damn that’s a testament if I’ve ever heard one
I the only guy that noticed no bolts in where the factory fuel bowl was mounted.
You know much about the synergy and apex chassis steering kits for dodge
I have the synergy kit for my 94. No complaints other than it was a bit pricey
Are those good for lifts
I have the Synergy T-style tie rod and drag link kit on my ‘06, a bit pricey but well worth it.

I would like for you to eliminate my heat exchanger on my 06 ram
Do it yourself.
@@EkzdeeLFT I wood like to but I have 4 kids in sports and I work full time.
Yeah sounds a little busy but honestly it doesn’t take to long to do it yourself plus I just left it bolted in and bypassed it
