Just wanted to thank you for this video. I know that Afterbirth did away with the need to do this crazy puzzle, but I've been trying to see how far I can get with completing everything in vanilla Rebirth, and this helped a lot. Thanks again!
oops ._. Well, before fighting Satan, you can go in rooms and get hit, until u have atleast 2/3 black hearts or atleast 4 red hearts, so you can die by his foot! ^^
TIP: For the Maggie run if you place a bomb next to the tinted rock in the room right before the item room on the first floor you will get the small rock, which is a nice damage up if you're having trouble with Famine or The Haunt. TIP: Also, for the Maggie run if you go to the item room on the second floor (Branches off of the large room left of spawn) You will get the leech, this will also help with The Haunt. in the judas run, in catacombs 2, there is a battery on the room just underneath the spawn. It needs a key to get to, but it gives you one once you get to the battery.
I might be stupid, but I can’t unlock the Lost. I’ve tried this twice, and it hasn’t unlocked the Lost for me. I don’t have Afterbirth, but I am on Console if that effect anything I’d this a bug? Am I stupid? Help
if anyone hasn't unlocked the lost and have afterbirth, the first seed will not work, here is a new seed with tthe suicide bomber on the second floor (make sure you have 1 heart left, am not sure what room it spawns in) E7M6 G69S
Note: as Azazel DO NOT pick up judas's shadow You will not unlock the lost. I kinda did it and I have to restart everything. This was on a triple shot brimstone run
So the issue with people not unlocking the lost is still unresolved but a key element to it is that when you complet a run and you start the next one , your win streak should go into negative numbers , if it doesnt , there's no point in trying you won't be able to unlock him . ( I have this problem , it's still unsolved i think i have to get every single achievement before i try to unlock the lost ( of course not the achievements concerning the lost ) However i have spent like 60 hours playing seeded , unseeded runs over and over again , even used cheat engine at some point nothing works to unlock the lost )

did you died as Isaac/Magdalene/Judas by the wrong ennemy? did you died before going to satan with Azazel? also, did u died by Fallen or the little black cyclop things, or in the first phase of Satan? thats all my tips

I didn't get the lost!!! I died by Satan's bullets with Azazel, I did all of the seeds with the right characters! Do I have to repeat the process if I die with Azazel the first time I try???
I hadn't beat moms heart ten times yet but I have killed satan but what happened was I got angel president so I couldn't go fight him I had a 100% chance to fight him I even thought of beating satan instead

You can safely resset, as long as you pause the game upon death or else you have to do over again.
What happens if I do the first 3 steps correctly but then I die on the last run before I get to satan? Do I have to do the other 3 steps again?

On the judas run on the forth floor there's an arcade you can use some coins and break machine and get an eternal heart
i get diffent items as judas but isaac and maggie dont and i got the curst eye and i keep teleporting >:(

You cannot unlock the lost from doing seeds... Anything on seeds does not count. That is why everyone is having trouble doing it properly.
+Cinco Fernandez Eh .. You can use seeds on Isaac, Maggie and Judas. You just can't do it with Azazel.

I picked up judas' shadow as Azazel and didn't realise until i was at satan X(
I like playing is game and it’s challenging but the thing that ends most of my runs is the skeletons there just so annoying
