RAH RAH!", in reality, to them these things mean "I should be able to do what I want even if it's harmful, fuck you", so they're drawn to it. Same reason Musk has been going down the same pipeline.
When you see this formula, it becomes quite obvious. Start talking about cancel culture well before these things happen, start disputing what the media says, so when the ball drops, you dive even harder into blaming cancel culture/wokeness. Just waiting for things to start coming out about Musk.
