- Pre-Code HORROR Comic Books History: Is this the FIRST original book length horror comic in the history of comics? In 1948, a book-length comic book was published that featured a story written by STAN LEE with the classic horror atmosphere of novels such as Robert Louis Stevenson's "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" and Oscar Wilde's "The Picture of Dorian Gray."
I believe this to be the first ORIGINAL book length horror comic ever produced, what say you?

Hi @LeadPaint1 - there is a low grade 1.0 complete on ebay auction right now, still at 23 bucks. I believe this was digitized on an Atlas fan site, will get back to you on that.
