4-Row 28 Cylinder Radial - Engine Simulator

Based on the Pratt & Whitney R-4360 Wasp Major, but much smaller displacement to be able to run it in the sim. To make up the difference, I essentially run it on "top fuel" settings lol. Made with AngeTheGreat's Engine Simulator.

I thought that is too GT350 v8 sounding, but I know the R-4360 does have essentially the same crank design albeit twisted to match the cylinder bank pattern. But this is somewhat of a revelation that the familiar 7 radial grumble at low rpm morphs straight into super car v8 at rpm well beyond anything the actual R-4360 engine could obtain. Listening to the Sea fury Dreadnought in high speed passes doesn't reveal this kind of detail as the big prop makes quite a lot of wailing noise itself, and the sound is on top of the viewer before it becomes clear enough to appreciate. Thanks for this very accurate portrayal.
