😲Oh my !! Spot on Gordon, that`s a fab. video about a sad event, but Thais always keep smiling despite the impressive flood - , very remarcable !✌❤ what about your farm ?
I thought it was bad when we went for lunch last Monday. But with all that rain the last few days,it's not surprising that it's impacting homes and businesses now.
Wow ! That section after @1:00 you said rice fields...I imagine they were already planter for the year? Sad that they will lose all that work if destroyed now.
Nice one Gordon my God we have had a lot of rain this year , is it the first time you have seen it like that up your way ? Feel sorry for the farmers. They will be fishing in the morning 555 , the Mekong next to us is as high as I have ever seen and flowing so fast you fall in you be gone . Hope you do an update tomorrow on getting cheep Leo 555 🍺🍺chris
Hope it's only for a few days. My sister in-law who lives near to the white temple (paradonchai A.Muang), says its only a little flooded & the river is still not too bad. Lake near yo her house is up to its banks. Hope it's all well with you. Pete & Jang.
@@gordontickle1673Mate, it's not about me. Just look at the response of the young woman who obviously didn't share your sense of humour losing her job. Let alone some of those locals who may have lost homes. Drinking cheap beer couldn't have been on their minds.
These people are my Neighbors and I know them all well, all the staff where back in seven eleven today cleaning it will be open again by Monday with no loss of Jobs at all. The carnage further up which we couldn't see was much worse. The Thais have the Dunkirk spirit and it will take more than this to defeat them.
As you said Gordon - surprisingly nobody out with nets fishing. Stay safe.
Wow never expected that. I hope my place and Steve's is ok
Hi GT, think you are a part of a historical moment not seen every day. i am happy I left when I did. Great video.

The monks will be ying yang yonging! That cracked me up! A bit like Billy Connelly said in the past "spectacles, testicles, wallet and watch!

Good morning Gordon thank you for the update our thoughts are with the locals in the lower areas who are copping it. Good luck buddy.
Oh my all the poor 7-11 girls are still in uniform ready to work. 😔
All that water gone to waste. So if the dam is kaput does that mean water shortage next summer?
What's "ying yang yonging?"
Your jokes are extremely inappropriate
If you can not laugh in the face of adversity when can you laugh? you may find other channels more to your liking! GT
