      AWWW thank you Sideara! That means so much coming from someone as famous as you! Lol. I can only aspire 😭 But seriously thank you. I know I'm going to beat this and I know that this channel is helping a small but significant amount of people and I think in the coming years science will realize that bartonellosis, SIBO, and MCAS are a lot more prevalent than is currently appreciated. I voted for your shoes btw!!! I'm sorry you didn't win but having 2/5 of the options is already a win in my book

    Is Bart the only co infection you are working on or just the first one? Thank you for sharing! Great tips!

    • @BartonellaBabe
      @BartonellaBabe  2 роки тому +1

      I "just" have bartonellosis but Bartonella is very much a stand-alone infection and can make people very very sick all on its own. That's why I make sure to never call it a co-infection because that helps spread awareness of how devastating bartonellosis can be on its own 🙂, which has been my experience

    Hi Jake,
    Thank you for your videos. I noticed you’re still dealing with alot and I really feel for you. Do you feel that you’re going in the right direction or maybe you’re still lost? Do you feel exosomes helped you even though you still have limited use of hands and feet and are on an extremely limited diet? I have had alot of the same symptoms but not quite the same severity. I have considered exosomes, but they’re super expensive and I keep seeing very temporary results with people. Also, I mean this comment is the kindest way possible, I don’t want to trigger you in any way. Sending hope and love.

    • @BartonellaBabe
      @BartonellaBabe  3 роки тому +3

      Hi Gaia! Thank you so much for the way you worded your comment. I don't feel lost! Treating the SIBO was what was standing in the way of me making progress. I have now gained back 7 foods in 1 month. And the exosomes have reduced my pain by so much. Yes they are expensive and yes you have to keep doing them if you still have your source of the inflammation (for me that's the Bartonella) but I wasn't able to use my phone at all and now I can type this message to you and edit videos (which is A LOT of clicking). I can't do things that require grip and weight (like holding a pot of water for cooking) because I still am very sick with bartonellosis. Should be starting clarith in the next 6 weeks or so if all goes according to plan

      @@BartonellaBabe thank you so much for your message! I really appreciate hearing your story as lyme and co’s (like bartonella) can be so tricky to treat. It feels like there’s always a crisis or roadblock to work around at every turn. I’m glad to hear exosomes have helped you a lot with pain. This is very reassuring. I’m looking forward to continuing to watch you on this journey to be well. We will both get there. Sending love and prayers ❤️

    Cujo Piper, a Prairie Dog, and some sort of...Pterodactyl over your shoulder...nice zoo there "StillJake". :)
    Off topic question, since you not only know stuff, you seem, to me at least, to know *all* the stuff. Insomnia issues. I've watched/seen/read about a myriad of diseases, and my main issue MCAD, but rarely see or hear others talk about the...no-sleep sleep. From literature I've absorbed, Histamine is allegedly at its highest level about 3:00AM. One might presume other body chemicals are as well, due to some of our bodies being..."whack". Do you possess in your brain, or have the facility to expound/dispense anything on this topic? (Maybe you sleep like a babe in a bassinet though.) And does the same (insomnia) possibly apply to Bartonella, SIBO, and other medical issues? I sleep maybe, 2 hours a night, sometimes go weeks and weeks without REM, its horrific and so detrimental to my life, but I can't take sleep meds, over or behind the counter, can't smoke weed, etc. Just seeing if your educated and spectacularly edifying erudite mind has any insight into this, for a possible future podcast. :)

      Bahaha my mom is offended at "Cujo Piper." Her breath was pretty Cujo but she got a deep cleaning and it has been nothing short of miraculous. I love her even more and I didn't know that was possible!
      I know absolutely NOTHING about sleep. I do sleep like a Bartonella babe in a bassinet. I have heard about the middle of the night histamine dump a lot but have never experienced it myself. As we know MCAS is very heterogeneous and I mostly react to things I ingest and when I'm sleeping, I'm not ingesting.
      I'm sure you've tried the basics, like sedating H1s, since those can be for MCAS and sleep. Benzos can also have this dual action. I know some people with bartonellosis have an inverted sleep schedule due to brain inflammation (much like some Autistic people don't sleep through the night).
      But perhaps I can research this in the future and if you come across anything you think I should include, you let me know TR Savage

      @@BartonellaBabe Oh man, the very last thing I would *ever* want to do...is upset the Marvelous Majestic Magically Magnificent Maternal Unit known as Mom! Please pass my sincere heartfelt condolences on to her for my grievous error in ever deigning to make what would appear to be a slight, a disparagement, an insult, about that fabulous canine unit, she of impeccable moral lassitude, a puppy paragon of virtue, a pillar of the community, the antithesis of turpitude and perfidiousness "puppyitude". :)
      I'm glad you sleep. We all have our "thing" and for me, Benadryl, Hydroxyzine (only word in the English language with xyz in a row) have the infamous "Paradox effect" and affect me like coffee, amphetamines or whatever. Benzos mess me up, got a circadian rhythm disruption where my body wants to stay up for about 22 or so hours, its a challenge. But thank you for the consideration, the suggestions, and enjoy your weekend. :)
