Can we get a German exclusive video? All the tricks of the trade. From detailing to buffing and body work too. His experiences in the shop and what else he did/does, such as side work, if he's comfortable talking about it. Thank you!
I own the exact same 2013 Rugged Brown 2 dr soft top Wrangler. Mine is a Sport S and I bought it brand new off the lot with 10 miles on the odometer. Just hit 97k and it’s paid off. I love it. Worst problems I’ve had is the thermostat as well as the axle seal which was covered under warranty. At the moment I think my fuel pump is going bad but it’s too soon to tell. I love my Jeep. It’s my baby. I live in south Texas and rust is not bad at all. I’ve added a 2 inch lift as well as off road tires. Kids are in my future and I’ve been contemplating a 4 door JL but I cannot bring myself to pull the trigger. Thankfully my wife understands. She was my girlfriend when I first purchased my Wrangler.. I love my Jeep so much. Mind you, it’s my first brand new vehicle after a used 99 dodge stratus. Anybody who gets this 2 door Wrangler is lucky. 2013’s were built better than most people would say. Granted, I’ve been mostly kind to my Wrangler. The most “off road” I’ve been is the beach and some dirt roads. But my Jeep got me through 2 years of 2.5 hours one way to graduate school and back. No issues. This past February I got me a Miata as a daily driver. Wanted to give my Wrangler a rest. The Miata is fun as can be. The engine is snappy and the interior and sound system are wonderful (grand touring model). Guess which vehicle I catch myself driving me? My 2013 Rugged Brown Sport S Wrangler. Don’t sleep on this Jeep.
If you remove the plastic spacer between the bumper and grill and loosen the plastic underside panel, then there are eight bolts that hold the front bumper on. Once you remove those nuts the bumper slides off the front end and you can access the steel frame on the underside of the bumper, I think it was 4 or 8 nuts that held it on which also held the tow hooks (you can spray paint them a nice color while off). The best part is that now you can access the inside of that plastic bumper and warm up that bumper with a heat gun and push out all those unsightly dents!
I basically do this with lawn mowers... works well. To why i bought a Jogn Deere GX345 for $100, spending total of $900 in parts. Actual pricing for these mowers used is around the $3800 range in my area.

I got my 98 Grand Cherokee for $400, i had to do very little to pass inspection, best part is it only had 135,000 miles and I just gave it to my brother
Jeep takeoffs are a steal. Never replace the tires on a Jeep way cheaper to buy a takeoff set usually brand new or driven from the Dealer to the tire shop.
Keep up the great work!!! I have a 2011 70th JK(bought when new) with matching color top. Rust free since I live in San Diego. I'm looking forward to the Ferrari purchase 😀
I dont understand all the hate on the comments section. At the end of the day, there are Jeep lovers (suckers) that will pay top dollar for Wranglers...sure it is generally a poorly finished and unreliable vehicle. Dont hate the player, hate the game. Keep up the videos! You've done a great job building the channel and keeping us engaged.
I’m in Cali and I’ve been looking for a good deal for 2 yrs. Prices for wranglers (and every other vehicle) out here are beyond nuts. Not sure where you’re seeing these dime a dozen wranglers but you should definitely buy em. Then double you’re money selling em to yuppies here that can’t wait to get rid of their dough. He would be paying the wrangler tax, the Cali tax, and shipping on top! We don’t know what he paid for that one but I’ll bet it’s better than here.......I’m not bitter though 😠
mind you that although you paid xxx for wheels and tires, you also spent fuel, wear and tare on the vehicle you used to obtain them, traffic/time. Once you do the math, it starts to not look like a deal any longer.
He lovea jeep because he has a huge library of years of same model with so many items like this one he puts some items of diferent jeep boom nice 4x4 and like he said money to his pocket
Craig, right now you're a Jack of all cars, and a master of none. The fact that your employees could be working on a Jeep one day, and then a 4-door Audi the next, decreases their efficiency as well as your shop as a whole. With all your knowledge and enthusiasm for Jeeps and GMC/Chevy trucks, have you considered narrowing your dealership to become a Jeep/Truck specialty shop specializing in restored Jeeps/Trucks and custom upgrades? Living in New Hampshire, I would think your market for these vehicles would be year round. Towing boats and campers in the Summer and clearing snow/navigating slippery roads in the Winter. Heck, you could become a regionally known expert shop at installing the countless bolt-on aftermarket upgrades for these vehicles further improving your bottom line. Having watched all your videos, personally, I think it's a no-brainer for your business. It simplifies your parts department, it focuses the skills of your mechanics, and most of all, you LOVE these vehicles! IOW, no more 2004 Nissan Sentras with 200K miles on them that you make a couple hundred bucks profit. Every time you mention you sell a Jeep/Truck, you also mention what a huge profit margin you have with those vehicles. Plus, in my humble opinion, it will make you happy. Things that make you go hmmm....... (Oh yea, once you get your Vette, you'll sell that old Viper and never look back.)
This! Plus he can use the other building he owns as a combination mechanic shop/distribution center for all things Jeep (i.e. customization parts, etc.).
