Just saw them take the new Bronco down the Rubicon trail. It was trashed. You may get some of the mall crawlers to switch but the jeep will always be a better off-road vehicle. But I hope you're right. Get some mall mom's out of the jeep market.

    • @jvaughan2003
      @jvaughan2003 3 роки тому +26

Lets be honest...I would say 95% of Jeeps are mall crawlers.

@@jvaughan2003 I can't disagree with you. That's why I hope you're correct about prices. My JK has G2 ton axles with 42" tires. I've actually parked beside two different women driving wranglers who asked what kind of jeep it was. They had know idea it was the same thing they were driving. I pray you're right.

@@theartistformerlyknownashe1279 That Bronco made it. The problem was the driver and the spotter. The new Bronco is every bit as capable as a Jeep Rubicon. And even if it isn't, 95% of people are never going to drive a Bronco or Wrangler down the Rubicon.

Great channel sir!! Just stumbled into it the other day.. I am a Jeep Dealer in Eastern North Carolina.. You will start to see more of the 4cyl Wranglers (2019 & 2020) @ the auctions. For the first time EVER Jeep has put rebates on Wrangler's, but only the 4cyl. We do not stock them, but most dealers have a ton of 2020 leftovers on their lot. The new One touch electric top option has really taken off too. We can't keep them in stock.. Best of luck!

Really enjoyed watching your search for the "correct Jeeps" for your Car Lot!! Some of those jeeps are really nice! YOUR videos lately helped me on a decision for a Toyota RAV4 that I just purchased. That being said, it was the factor of auction prices for everything are $2-$3-$4 thousand over Wholesale price; so I purchased a "Mint 2010 RAV4" for $8 grand. I did not get hurt by the inflated prices of auctions and bought an extra clean with plenty of maintenance on the RAV4! Maybe purchase much newer one in a year's time when prices hopefully come down to normal wholesale at auctions! Thanks Dude!

Would be interesting to know specifically how much the Carvanas, CarMax's are influencing and driving up wholesale prices. Can you provide insight on this quagmire. I believe its just a matter of time before people realize their pricing is well above traditional competing dealerships. How much are they influencing the market? When is their bubble going to burst? Is their objective to corner pricing in the wholesale market on green light cars?

When I was a kid I worked at a golf course and we had a 43 Willies that we used around the course. It was better than the tractor because you could lug it down in 4wl, hop out to pick up balls or take care of problems and jump back in as it putted along at a slow walk. The idea of a 'jeep' with power windows makes me laugh. These things that you are buying and selling are not jeeps.

1st and foremost, frame rust depending on your area. Also, the '07-'09, check the front inner fenders for cracks/wrinkles. Pop the hood and it's typically halfway back, near the top of the inner fender, just below where the hood closes. Do a quick search & you'll get plenty of info/pics. That's basically it. I sell the roll down windows easy. I tell them true Jeepers want the roll windows instead of power windows. When they're crossing rivers. If they start to sink it saves their life. Instead of worrying about the power windows shorting out. You can always roll the window down and escape. Plus is makes it easier to take the doors off. At least that's how I sell through that situation. Just trying to help another fellow car seller out.

Hey brother I’m 23 y/o I recently opened a dealer here in Miami and I was wondering what you use to see how much you should be paying for each car because I’m not 100% sure on every single car

Its probably manheim or adesa but you need to register your dealership with those placea and have auction access and pay 100 per year to be a nationwide membership. Every auction house is different but for the most part all of them are connected to auction access.

As a casual observer and watcher of UA-cam videos, I think that these UA-cam videos are the reason that auction prices, and used cars in general are so high. You are better off watching for manufacturer and dealer incentives and buying new.

So who buys all the new cars when they aren’t new anymore? How do the used dealers stay in business?

UA-cam videos aren’t why the market is high. A lack of cars is.

You should see what they go for in the United Kingdom, you'll find 20 year old TJ's in great condition going for $20,00, you'd be lucky to pick up a rusty beat up 97 TJ for less than about $9000.

So how or where do you get the money to buy cars at auction? And I'm not talking about $500-1000 vehicle. I'm talking about going in there and buying 2 or 3 $10,000 vehicles. Some of you actually have $30,000 in your pocket or do you get loans for this and pay them back as soon as the vehicle sells? Trying to figure out how all this works.

Le Mans isn't the name of the track, it's only the name of the race. The name of the track where 24h of Le Mans take place is Circuit de la Sarthe.

In the used California market, a good percentage of the Wranglers available are former Hawaiian rentals. All of them are 1 to 2 years old, low miles and rust showing on some components.

I have a co-worker might want to sell his (I can ask on Monday) 2001, appears to be same body style as the 98 in your video. (Texas Vehicle, no rot) White with black hard top. Miles (I think ) are 170,000 4.0 engine, automatic. Straight body, exhaust leak. Could use a good detail. Based on description, what would be a ball park price he could expect?
