It’s a negative edge character. No need to mash on the buttons. Once you summon just hold the button down and let go and ancestor will hit. Input a button for kenshi then hold a button for ancestor and let go. How the char works.
For anyone struggling with lunging soul, the 42 (down the middle) is really important in timing. It 42 is executed too soon after 1, the ancestor doesn’t have time to recharge. TL:DR. Space between 1,42. It has more time than you think.

It will do a slash launch and then you can press 3 while the opponent is in the air to juggle, and then finish the combo as in the video. So the full thing would be f2,2 - Kameo -1,3,db3 - 3 - 4,2, 3 - 4,db4

Slice and Dice in R1 and strings are not ther same, i put the names in order the input is not the same. is this an old version of the game?? i have the Named inputs as you with the same list by names marked, it does not work and yes expl, R1 is now slice N Dice , not R2 etc?? PC here default. names are put up in the same order as here anyW. plz help or if its old i need a new combo list like string for kenshi :_)

@@samuelparia513 I had the most success using the visual clue of the head and the sword. You press 42 as soon as the opponents head starts to spring back after the 1, or when Sento's sword is about to be vertical after the 1. I still miss 80% of the time but this has worked the best for me.
If you followed everything then there shouldn’t be any issue. It’s either your hesitation or impatience in inputting that lunging soul. I would just trial and error and experience t and see what works for you. Make sure you pay attention to the visual indicators to identify its timing. Which is what I did and figured out. Took me all day to get it right consistently.

Great video. Most think they have to press r1 or r2 to control them individually but that's not the case most of the times. The only technical improvement for the video is to chand meter burn to enhanced special or ex special cause there is no meter burn system in this game.😊

That's the reason why noone complains about gameplay mechanics in mk1 but they did with 11. Meter burn is a system that came from injustice and because it could be delayed after special move and not instantly, it removed so much risk from so many moves. Now u have to decide if u want special or EX special and then get the reward or face punishment. "Under the mayo" has a great video completely explaining this if u want more.

I always block while doing attacks with the spirit. That way Kenshi will not move (AKA lose frames) and it makes every combo with him much easier.

My combo allways separates. i get the full combo off but the combo dosent say 14

The combo is easy to execute but damage is way less than the one shown in video
