The blind swordsman in MK1 is easily among the most challenging characters in the game. Not only is his own moveset about twice as big as anyone else's, but you also have to learn how to control his puppet, really pushing it over the top. Luckily, K7 Showoff has a great grasp of the character, and today he's here to teach us how to pick up and play Kenshi.

The soul push (BF4) is what ive been missing. Idk why it just dawned on me, that one move is the difference between a standard kenshi player and one who beats my ass 9/10, and just using it myself has improved my kenshi gameplay 👌👌 youre truly a(n) (elder)godsend

Don’t forget you can EX the DB2 to resummon sento when in sword stance for some meter to keep sento going

Btw i found a fatal blow combo tht does 542 damage subzero cameo. F22 + FOWARD KAMEO + SENTO 1 + 42 + sento 3 + 42 + sento 3 + 4 + FATAL BLOW you have to time the first 42 a little later then the sento 1 or it wont be a true combo. Hope this helps 😁

No, it's all good, it's very, very difficult to master. I've already put 100 hours into it and I'm still learning the incredibly complex nature of the character
Never beat yourself up about having trouble learning a puppet character. In any game lol
Great guide. Would love to see how to apply pressure with sento, along with set up routes after combos to get him out safely.
A way to pressure is to pull out sento hold forward block do sento 2 then release block hold r1 do forward 22 then hold block and repeat
I suck at explaining but titanium tigerz has 2 good kenshi guides and he explains it during the first video
@@ikyikal-his videos are the best at explaining how to utilize sento, but this video helped me understand kenshi outside of that a lot more. With sento, I'm a monster, but that doesn't help if I can never get him out or use him. Lol
The back forward 4 (B or O, depending on your system) is a great pressure tool when charged. Most people don't realize that it's still kenshis turn, and they'll try to kounter.

What's the optimal timing in start stance for F22 into BF2 I keep getting F22 B2 or F222. When should I start the Back input for the push. Great Guide!

How do you make sento do sento 2 and not make kenshi swing his sword? It doesnt look like you are holding block to not make kenshi swing, because you are walking towards Geris….i know super noob question, i just got the game today…lol
is this character alot of fun to play?
Forst gives u 50/50s and an pretty Good low projectile and even an anti hair and a move to make urself safe although sub zero is pretty strong i think Forst is the Better Pick for online
But if they block it then you get punished for 40% minimum, sub zero allows you to do much more damage once you hit confirm

Kenshin has to many safe move I literally just played kenshin where all I did was block because everything is safe and he pushes me away
Does anyone have any tips on how to get used to fighting with Sento out and doing the whole R1 R2 thing. It just feels so weird to me even as a fighting game MK fan for years.

It's the direction! 1 = down-left, 4 is left.
@@DashFightwhat? Um, 1 is Square, 2 is Triangle, 3 is X, 4 is Circle, for PlayStation. These are lettered differently on Xbox, so 1-4 is used universally for whatever console
