I do it my way. Lending a helping even to 1 person who is truly deserving, is also community service. I believe in duplicating and creating a chain action. For example, you help me, then i render my help to another, he or she continues the service to another person. That's how it should be. A collective effort. So, that it becomes a pattern and pass it down to the next generation. It's also Legacy.

Most could use volunteers or donations. I would call ahead to the shelter you are thinking of and ask what their needs are and how you can help. :)
